Race 6 – 6 VICTORY SKY
From a wide draw last start, he was forced to work early in a fast-run 1400m race and faded to finish tenth. That effort can be forgiven, as he had placed in his four prior runs and looks on the verge of a breakthrough.
He resumes after an encouraging trial, and with a more patient ride this time, he appears ready to make amends first-up.
Race 8 – 7 CHILL KAKA
An awkward start last time significantly hindered his chances, forcing him into a wide trip and a third-last finish in a 14-runner field. Post-race vet reports revealed he returned with respiratory distress, so that effort is best overlooked.
After an 85-day break, he has trialled well leading into this first-up assignment, and a much-improved performance wouldn’t be a surprise.

RACE 1 – 6 SMASHING EXPRESS
First-up from a wide draw, he was forced to settle well off the pace, and the slow tempo only compounded his task. Despite clocking a fast final 400m sectional, he could manage only ninth. With added fitness, he looks well-placed to feature in the mix second-up.
RACE 10 – 11 LIGHT YEARS GLORY
Following an impressive debut win, he delivered another encouraging effort last time, finishing strongly into second over this distance. As a promising three-year-old with plenty of upside, he must be considered a strong contender, even stepping up to Class 3.
