Race 1 – 7 EURO ROCKS
On his Class 5 debut last time, he was badly held up from the 400m to the 200m after traveling well just off the speed early on, so it was no surprise he finished second-last.
He has trialled well leading into his first-up assignment, and with a smoother run, he looks capable of making amends.
Race 8 – 1 TOURBILLON GOLFER
After a strong second on debut, he was unlucky not to go one better last time when badly held up from the 400m to the 150m, before flashing home late to grab another second over this track and distance.
Resuming off an easy trial win, he looks primed to break through if he gets even luck in running.
Sectional Stars
RACE 6 – 2 ARGENTO OCEAN
He has yet to draw a decent gate in his two starts to date but has produced strong finishing runs, including a slashing fourth at Happy Valley last time out. Running on well in a recent Conghua trial, he appears ready to break through at his third career start.
RACE 10 – 2 SUPERB KID
He closed off strongly from a wide draw to finish fifth over this track and distance last start, and with the form since holding up well through several subsequent performers, there is every indication he can return with another encouraging effort first-up.
