Race 2 No 6 LEATHER MASTER
He struck strong form towards the end of last season, but had no luck last time when forced to travel wide throughout, sitting just off the speed. After working hard in the early and middle stages, he understandably tired inside the final 200m and faded to finish sixth, 3.5 lengths away.
A consistent threat at Class 5 level, he only needs a more economical run to be right in contention and capable of making amends.
Race 5 No 10 BULL ATTITUDE
He has managed just one placing from five starts, which came when he finally drew a decent gate. In his other four runs he jumped from barriers no better than 12, yet was never beaten far — including a solid fourth last time out when racing on the speed off a frantic tempo.
Resuming off a sharp trial win, he strikes a winnable race first-up and looks one to watch.

Race 6 No 3 INVINCIBLE IBIS
Having finished runner-up in both starts, he was forced to settle well back from a wide draw last time, but unleashed the fastest final 400m of the race (22.59 seconds) to charge home, falling just 1.25 lengths short over this track and trip. He shapes as a promising type to follow into the new season.
Race 10 No 5 POPE CODY
Adopting a more positive tactic last start, he settled on the speed but weakened late to finish fourth over 1600m. Before that, he had produced sharp closing sectionals over the final 400m in several runs, and the drop back to 1400m first-up could give him every chance of finishing in the Top 3.
