Golden Alqa (FR) Won over 1850m on this course in Claimer on 7 August. She has to give weight away to the field but is one of the leading contenders. Modern Spirit (FR) Finished seventh over 1400m at Compiegne in Handicap on 29 July. Would not be a shock winner Clement Lecoeuvre retaining the ride. Marys Not Contrary Won over 1400m on this course in Claimer on 7 August. She is a progres-sive type and must be considered.

Regal Eye (IRE) Produced a promising debut run when second over 1400m on this course in Conditional Maiden on 15 July. He would have gained from the experience and is the horse to beat. Artilleur (FR) Finished third in both starts, the latest of which was over 1600m on this course in Conditional Maiden on 25 July. He is one of the leading contenders. Mon Paulin (FR) Finished seventh over 1400m on this course in Conditional Maiden on 7 August. He should enjoy the rise to 1600m and may have good improvement to come. Legacy Of Saints (FR) Unraced son of Iffraaj out of the Churchill mare, Lady Of Saints. He hails from the Henri Fran?ois Devin stable, and the betting market will be a good guide.

Hollie Wood (FR) Improved to win over 1600m at Clairefontaine in Claimer on 26 July. She is a progressive type and merits healthy respect. Meisho Sugar (FR) Finished fifth on debut over 1400m on this course in Conditional Maiden on 15 July. She would have come on from the outing and should make the natural improvement. La Carriere (IRE) Finished unplaced on debut over 1500m at Deauville in Unraced Conditional Unraced on 3 August. There is plenty of room for improvement and Clement Lecoeuvre is booked to ride.

Teardrop Explodes (FR) Ran 10th in a handicap over 2000m at La Teste on 27 July. She might have failed in that Quinté+ but was coming off a success in a Class 3 and looks the runner to beat. Villa Darya (FR) Won a Qualifying Handicap over 2100m at Le Touquet on 27 July. Ran on strongly to score, she should be even better over this longer trip. Bialystok (IRE) Ran 2nd in a Qualifying Handicap over 2100m at Le Touquet on 27 July. He fought gamely and was narrowly touched off by.
RACE 6: DE ROYET (TURF TRACK) – 2400M – TIME: 20:37 PRIZE MONEY: EUR16300
Beetlejuice (FR) Ran 2nd in a Handicap over 2000m at Compiegne on 24 July. He found the winner too good last time but he is clearly progressing. Van Diemen (FR) Finished 7th in a Qualifying Handicap over 1900m at Deauville on 7 August. Showed good form as a two-year-old and should improve on his comeback run. Kalafa (FR) Ran 5th in a Maiden over 2100m at Vittel on 25 July. That was decent comeback effort and she will enjoy the longer distance. Lady Melissa (IRE) Won a Maiden over 2100m at Senonnes 2 August. She looked decent enough in her first win to be competitive in a handicap.
RACE 7: VICHYSSOISES (TURF TRACK) – 2000M – TIME: 21:12 PRIZE MONEY: EUR16300
Rua (IRE) Ran 3rd in a Qualifying Handicap over 1900m at Deauville on 7 August. That was a top-class effort and she looks the runner to beat. Fuji Hana (FR) Ran 3rd in a Handicap over this course and distance on 4 August. She comes off two decent runs at this course at this level and will be competitive. Nuit De L’homme (FR) Finished 10th in a Handicap over 2200m at Claire- fontaine on 6 August. Although he failed last time he did finish 3rd at this course in his penultimate start. Sea Wave (FR) Ran 4th in a Handicap over 2200m at Clairefontaine on 6 August. An honest performer who could take advantage in this company.
RACE 8: SAINT-PALAIS (TURF TRACK) – 1850M – TIME: 21:47 PRIZE MONEY: EUR15600
Kirovsky (IRE) Ran 2nd in a Conditions race over 1800m at Dieppe on 31 July. He fought all the way to the line on debut and could go one better this time. Grand Chelem (FR) Ran 3rd in a Conditions race over 1800m at Dieppe on 31 July. He was touched off by KIROVSKY (1) on their debut runs but will be competitive again. Avant Nous (FR) Ran 3rd in a Maiden over 1800m at Saint-Malo on 24 July. That was her first run in France after moving from ireland and she should improve. Jurmala (IRE) Ran 3rd in a Maiden over 2000m at this course on 30 July. Course and distance suits and she should fight out the finish.
