Race Preview: Queen Of Science (IRE) Finished 4th in a Listed race over 2200m at ParisLongchamp on 4 May. Drops in class and is the runner to beat. Batal Youmzain (FR) Finished 3rd in a Conditions race over 2000m at ParisLongchamp on 7 May. Ran well to end up just 1.25 lengths behind some talented runners. Acacus Finished 4th in a Conditions race over 2150m at ParisLongchamp on 24 April. He has run well in all three of his races and has a chance. Merano (SWI) Ran 4th in a Handicap over 1600m at Saint-Cloud on 13 May. Tries further this time but will need to improve to feature.
RACE 2: D’AMELIE CLAIMING STAKES (TURF TRACK) (FROM COMPIEGNE RACE 2) – 2400M – TIME: 19:22 PRIZE MONEY: EUR16000
Race Preview: Plain Beau Won a Claimer over 2100m at Saint-Cloud on 23 May and this gelding now looks ready to move up to the next level. Pingo (FR) Finished 8th in a Claimer over 2500m at Saint-Cloud on 19 May but she is better than that run suggests. Il Grande Black (IRE) Ran 5th in a Claimer over 2400m at Compiegne on 28 March. That was his best run in a while and it was at this course. Chance. Diamond Star (GER) Finished 10th in a Claimer over 2000m at Nancy on 20 May. Will need to find more in order to be competitive.
RACE 3: DE ST LEGER AUX BOIS STAKES (TURF TRACK) (FROM COMPIEGNE RACE 3) – 2400M – TIME: 19:55 PRIZE MONEY: EUR23000
Race Preview: Gerard Ter Borch (FR) Finished 4th in a Conditional race for three-year-olds over 2100m at Saint Cloud on 9 May. Ran on well from last. Ketmie Queen (FR) Ran 4th in a Maiden over 2400m at Saint-Cloud on 23 April. She clearly appreciated the extra distance and is improving. Rossonera (IRE) Finished 6th in a Maiden over 1800m at this course on 10 May. She tries further but her last run indicates it will suit her. Don’t Shut Me Down (FR) Ran 5th in a Maiden over 2000m at Le Lion D’Angers on 6 May and is another who should appreciate the longer trip.
RACE 4: DU PUITS D’ANTIN MAIDEN STAKES (TURF TRACK) (FROM COMPIEGNE RACE 4) – 2400M – TIME: 20:28 PRIZE MONEY: EUR27000
Race Preview: Daraydana (FR) Finished 3rd in an event for unraced three-year-old fillies over 2000m at Chantilly on 2 May. With natural improvement she is the runner to beat. Melanesia (FR) This filly finished 2nd in a Maiden over 2200m at Fontainebleau on 12 April. She can only improve on that performance. Janah (FR) Ran second in a Maiden over 2400m at Lyon Parilly on 8 May. She is getting better with each start and is one to watch. Rodoya (IRE) Finished 5th in a Maiden over 2100m at Haras Du Pin on 13 April. Ran well enough on debut to expect further improvement.
RACE 5: DES BEAUX MONTS STAKES (TURF TRACK) (FROM COMPIEGNE RACE 5) – 1400M – TIME: 21:01 PRIZE MONEY: EUR20000
Race Preview: Beechcraft (FR) Won a Claimer over 1650m at Sable-Sur-Sarthe on 27 April. This gelding has won two Claimers in just five starts. Moorea (FR) Ran 4th in a Handicap over 1400m at Strasbourg on 8 May. She won her two races prior to that and is ideally distance suited. Diamantine (IRE) Won a Maiden over 1200m at Monte-De-Marsan in 13 April. She will have gained confidence from the win. Key To Victory (FR) Ran 4th in a Handicap over 1400m at ParisLongchamp on 15 May. That run was good enough to give her a chance.
RACE 6: DE SAINT-JUST EN CHAUSSE STAKES (TURF TRACK) (FROM COMPIEGNE RACE 6) – 1400M – TIME: 21:34 PRIZE MONEY: EUR18000
Race Preview: Celestial (FR) Won a Conditions race over 1600m at Chantilly on 14 March 2024. He is unbeaten in two starts but has not raced in over a year. Pinta (FR) Won a Maiden over 1400m at this course on 31 May last year. A promising filly but has not raced for a year. Grey Man (FR) Finished 8th in a Conditions race over 1600m at ParisLongchamp on 30 April. May have been the effects of a second run after a one-year layoff. Agat (IRE) Finished 3rd in a Handicap over 1300m at ParisLongchamp on 6 October last year. Was rested during the winter.
RACE 7: DU CARREFOUR NAPOLEON HANDICAP (TURF TRACK) (FROM COMPIEGNE RACE 7) – 1600M – TIME: 22:07 PRIZE MONEY: EUR13500
Race Preview: Red Crazy (FR) Has been kept to the PSF for some time now and was fourth in a handicap at Chantilly over 1900m on 14 April. Competitive off current handicap mark and could score. Alpengeist Has been campaigning on the PSF of late and was 9th in a handicap at Deauville over 1900m on 8 April. Better on the grass and has a winning chance. Gin Gembre (FR) On a very long losing run and was 9th in a handicap at ParisLongchamp over 1400m on 4 May. Has run well at this course before and is not out of it. Prince Des Dunes (FR) Has struggled all year and was 11th in a handicap at Chantilly over 1900m on 16 May. Can be competitive back on the grass.
RACE 8: DE LA VIEILLE FORGE HANDICAP (TURF TRACK) (FROM SENONNES-POUANCE RACE 2) – 2100M – TIME: 22:23 PRIZE MONEY: EUR16000
Race Preview: Oasis Bay (FR) Fifth in a Condition race at Le Lion-d’Angers over 2000m on 21 April. Won at this track in July and can be competitive again. Good chance. Flamboyante (FR) A winner in a Handicap at Chateaubriant over 2650m on 12 May. Up in the weights, but should be competitive again. Cosquer Vras (FR) A runner-up in a Condition race at Orleans over 2200m on 11 May. Tried hard in the latest and must be respected. Bob La Bidouille (FR) Unplaced in a Handicap at Saint-Cloud over 2100m on 18 April. Penultimate start winner at Saint-Cloud and can bounce back to score.
RACE 9: DE LA GARDE IMPERIALE HANDICAP (TURF TRACK) (FROM COMPIEGNE RACE 8) – 1600M – TIME: 22:40 PRIZE MONEY: EUR15000
Race Preview: Penny De Cerisy (FR) Did not show her best when 12th in a handicap at Chantilly over 1900m on 2 May. In good form before that and has a winning chance. Akagera (FR) In good form of late and finished third in a handicap at this course over 1800m on 21 May. Should be very competitive in this line-up. Princesse Blonde (FR) Unreliable but was runner-up in a handicap at Saint-Cloud over 1600m on 9 May. Can go one better this time. Viking D’aumont (FR) Showed what he is capable if with a victory in a handicap at Saint-Cloud over 1600m on 9 May. Can double up.
RACE 10: DE LA ROCHE AUX FEES HANDICAP (TURF TRACK) (FROM SENONNES-POUANCE RACE 3) – 2100M – TIME: 22:56 PRIZE MONEY: EUR14000
Race Preview: Semeur (FR) Third in a Handicap at Deauville over 1900m on 8 April. Consistent sort who has every chance again. Can go close. Bella Ciao (FR) Finished 6th in a Handicap at Compiegne over 1800m on 21 May. Always gives everything she has and must be respected. Spring Eve (FR) Finished 8th in a Handicap at Chateaubriant over 2650m on 12 May. Dropping in trip and this could suit. Deserves some attention. Springboks (FR) Finished 10th in a Handicap at Angers over 2300m on 26 April. Ran a much better race before that and can be given consideration.
RACE 11: DU THEATRE IMPERIAL HANDICAP (TURF TRACK) (FROM COMPIEGNE RACE 9) – 1600M – TIME: 23:13 PRIZE MONEY: EUR22000
Race Preview: Eaglehawk (FR) In very good form and was victorious last time out in a handicap at Saint-Cloud over 1600m on 9 May. Carries a 3kg penalty but can follow up. Hayejohn (FR) In good shape and was runner-up in a handicap at Marseille-Borely over 1200m on 9 May. Has a winning chance. Montgaudry (FR) Yet to win a race but is in good form and was third in a handicap at Fontainebleau over 1800m on 12 April. Be right there at the finish. Markswoman (FR) On a very long losing run but was runner-up in a handicap at Nantes over 1600m on 5 May. Can go one better.
RACE 12: DU PALAIS IMPERIAL HANDICAP (TURF TRACK) (FROM COMPIEGNE RACE 10) – 1600M – TIME: 23:46 PRIZE MONEY: EUR20000
Race Preview: Faster (FR) In good form of late and was runner-up in a handicap at Saint-Cloud over 1600m on 9 May. Can go one better this time. Rumpleteazer (FR) Has improved this year and was victorious in a handicap at Marseille-Borely over 1200m on 22 April. Carries a 2kg penalty but can follow up. Rubis Gold (FR) Holding his form this year and was third in a handicap at Saint-Cloud over 1600m on 9 May. Be right there at the finish once again. Uri (FR) On a very long losing run but was not disgraced when 5th in a handicap at this course over 1800m on 21 May. Could contest the finish.
RACE 13: DANIELLE GODDE HANDICAP (TURF TRACK) (FROM SENONNES-POUANCE RACE 5) – 1350M – TIME: 00:03 PRIZE MONEY: EUR16000
Race Preview: Fleur De Sel (FR) Fifth in a Handicap at Nantes over 1600m on 5 May. Was unlucky that day and can make amends. Good chance. Iscreamforicecream (FR) Finished 6th in a Handicap at ParisLongchamp over 1400m on 4 May. Equipped with cheek-pieces for the first time and is well drawn. Warrants attention. Bienne (FR) Finished 6th in a Handicap at Evreux over 1200m on 27 May. Quick turn around and a big chance on that evidence. Toocoolforschool (FR) Finished 8th in a Handicap at Nantes over 1600m on 22 May. Was a winner two starts ago and cannot be ruled out.
RACE 14: DU SUD-MAYENNE HANDICAP (TURF TRACK) (FROM SENONNES-POUANCE RACE 6) – 1350M – TIME: 00:41 PRIZE MONEY: EUR14000
Race Preview: Vega Dream Runner-up in a Handicap at Nantes over 1600m on 22 May. Seems to be back on song and warrants serious consideration. El Bnoud (IRE) Runner-up in a Condition race at La Roche-Posay over 1700m on 18 May. Drops back in trip and looks a solid proposition off this current mark. Lagoa Santa (FR) Finished 6th in a Condition race at La Roche-sur-Yon over 1700m on 11 May. Had run well before over today’s trip and must have solid claims. Andino (FR) Finished 10th in a Handicap at Saint-Cloud over 1600m on 9 May. Had run a better race over 1400m before that and os one to watch.
RACE 15: DU VERGER STAKES (TURF TRACK) (FROM SENONNES-POUANCE RACE 8) – 1350M – TIME: 01:50 PRIZE MONEY: EUR12000
Race Preview: Ashikidah (FR) Finished 9th in a Listed race at Chantilly over 1600m on 6 May. Big drop in class and should make a bold bid for victory. Rastrellare (IRE) A winner in a Handicap at this track over 1350m on 15 March. Was a late scratch last time and must be respected. Telcherboline (FR) Winner of a Handicap at Deauville over 1900m on 24 October. Very consistent and warrants consideration despite returning from a break. Fort Etna (IRE) Finished 8th in a Condition race at Saint-Cloud over 1400m on 9 May. Expected to improve on this last run and can surprise.
