Summary:This is quite an interesting race with some well-bred first-timers. However, there was a lot to like about the manner in which OSHIA (2) won her last race and she can do so again. ASTREA (6) finished 2.5 lengths behind her and should also be competitive in this. SICILIANO (5) is a beautifully bred colt out of a Frankel mare and comes from a top stable so could make a winning debut. CHARMING CAT (1) has the most racing experience which could tell in a race of this nature.

Summary: DREAM IN BROOKE (4) has raced four times and has improved with each effort. She ran second over 2400m last time and will enjoy the extra 200m this time. STORM STAR (6) is also improving with each run and last time finished a one-length runner-up behind CAMELOR (1) but is now 3kg better off and is expected to reverse the placings. CAMELOR (1) fought on well to win his maiden last time but now has 61kg to carry and that will not be an easy task. SAPODILLA (7) won well last time but does take a jump in class.

Summary: There was a lot to like about KOURPLUVIX (5) debut win over this course and distance last time. He came with a late flourish to win it and there looks to be more to come from this gelding. MARCHEMALO (3) is another who has decent form at this course and the fact he drops in distance should be a bonus so it would come as no surprise were he to contest the finish. HERMES WOOD (1) has been trying further but has good form over shorter. DONEGAL (2) ran in a Listed race last year and comes back from a rest in which he should have matured.

Summary: THUNDERSPEED (7) has finished runner-up in two races at this level and is deserving of a win on this occasion. He is well weighted against some of the runners, especially NOVA KEN (11)) who meets him on seven pounds worse terms and also has to jump from a wide draw. PARTENIT (1) has a good draw, is well weighted and has performed well in races at this level. Big runner. GOWAY (8) Winner of his only attempt on today’s course, has a good draw, and deserves some credit. QUARTZ DU HOULEY (10) has his first run at the track but has good form at this level.

Summary:This looks to be a very open event but there was a lot to like about run of NOUVELLE TRIXIA (10) last time when finishing second at this course. She produced a strong finish last time out and and a win cannot be far away. BLARNEY (3) did not have a tough race when third on debut last and he could show further improvement in this event. HOODWINK (11) ran third on debut last time and the runner who finished behind her came out and won. BIG SURPRISE (7) seemed to struggle over 2000m and could benefit from the drop in distance.

Summary:An open event but BALAGAN (12) is perfectly drawn in stall No 1 so will have the opportunity to turn it on in the closing stage and she can outsprint her opposition. ROSISSIM (9) is currently in good form and can make his presence felt in this field. L’ELU DE SADDLE (6) is still maiden but gets an opportunity to shed that tag this time. MAPLE GIRL (1) drops n class, has a good jockey up and must have a chance in this line-up.

Summary:FLEXIBILITY (1) is coming into form at the right time and this race looks perfect for her to get back into the winners’ enclosure, especially with Ioritz Mendizabal picking up the ride. LIVING NELSON (2) drops in trip but jumps from pole position and that will allow his jockey to settle him perfectly and pounce at the right time. STORMY TANGO (4) goes up in trip and while he has the form to win, he will have to overcome the widest draw, which is a concern. REINE DE BAVIERE (15) is showing improvement.

Summary: ROCQUEMONT (3) is very comfortable running at this course where he has established a good record. As a result he looks the runner to beat. QANTIEM (14) has recently moved to Manon Scandella Lacaille’s yard and is well placed to put in a good performance . There is little to choose between him and BANSHIE (13) based on their last performance at this course. WALDKAUZ (10) is looking for his third successive victory.
