RACE 1: LA FRANCILIENNE STAKES (TURF TRACK) (FROM CHANTILLY RACE 4) – 1200M – TIME: 20:53 PRIZE MONEY: EUR35000
Summary: LHAKPA (1) has been competing in strong company recently, and her third-place finish at Meydan in early March stands out as a solid effort. HAWKEYE (5) is an unexposed type who impressed when winning his maiden by over two lengths at Chantilly in mid-April; he looks a smart prospect with more to come. MAGICAL TRAIL (6) was a dual winner in the UK for Charlie Appleby and shaped well on her debut for new connections last time out. UNE POINTURE (2) is another to keep in mind.
SELECTIONS
LHAKPA (1) – HAWKEYE (5) – MAGICAL TRAIL (6) – UNE POINTURE (2)
RACE 2: DE BARON HANDICAP (FIBRESAND TRACK) (FROM CHANTILLY RACE 5) – 1900M – TIME: 21:28 PRIZE MONEY: EUR15000
Summary: MARCAN (1) could be the one to side with in this open handicap, having placed in his last two starts and appearing ready to get his head in front. JETLINER (4) can pose a threat to the selection after a solid fifth over this track and trip in mid-April. PENNY DE CERISY (6) is an appealing each-way option, especially with Mickaël Barzalona booked. KIM KARALA (5) has been knocking on the door with back-to-back runner-up finishes and should be involved in the finish.
SELECTIONS
MARCAN (1) – JETLINER (4) – PENNY DE CERISY (6) – KIM KARALA (5)

Summary: ASTREA (2) has finished runner-up in both of her starts to date and is narrowly preferred to go one better over this slightly longer trip. This is a highly competitive contest, and both OSHIA (6) and MEFIE TOI (1) made promising debuts and are open to significant improvement. More was expected from TEMADIVA (4) on her debut at this track, but she remains capable of better and could well bounce back to win this time.
SELECTIONS
ASTREA (2) – OSHIA (6) – MEFIE TOI (1) – TEMADIVA (4)

Summary: A small but competitive field for this Listed event. AZIMPOUR (1) was narrowly denied when second at Parislongchamp in a Group 3 race over 1800m. He looks like the type who will improve with more experience. NIZAM (2) was fifth in the same race and could be the biggest danger, he won on both starts last year. LEFFARD (3) is unbeaten in two runs and looks a useful colt. He can make his rivals work hard for the win. NITOI (7) is a nice prospect and cannot be overlooked.
SELECTIONS
AZIMPOUR (1) – NIZAM (2) – LEFFARD (3) – NITOI (7)

Summary: LOUIS OTHON (1) had shown promise prior to his handicap debut, so his run at Saint-Cloud can be seen as below expectations. He has scope for improvement and is given the nod to bounce back and score. DIYAA (10) is highly consistent but tackles this longer distance for the first time. FUJI HANA (8) has also been in solid form recently and cannot be dismissed. BLANCHE SACREE (4) scored over this trip in March and ran well at this track earlier this month.
SELECTIONS
LOUIS OTHON (1) – DIYAA (10) – FUJI HANA (8) – BLANCHE SACREE (4)

Summary: L’HIPPOCAMPE (4) has been in decent form of late, he won at Deauville in January in a Class 4 handicap over 1900m. He can edge this over PIERRE LE GRAND (6), who acts well on all types of surfaces and was a decent third on the turf at Nimes two runs back in late March. SAN TEODORICO (3) looks like an option for the each-way backers after a decent second over track and trip on April 14th. BAILEYS ECLAIR (13) is also worth a mention.
SELECTIONS

Summary: BELGIAN PRINCE (3) made a solid return from a lengthy break when finishing second on the PSF last month. He should be fitter this time and, now back on turf, looks the one to beat. Both HEBE (6) and GRAZALEMA (10) have shown consistent form in Spain and could prove effective at this level in France. FORCE TRANQUILLE (5) is holding her form well and has done enough to merit consideration, especially as she is a previous winner over this distance.
SELECTIONS
BELGIAN PRINCE (3) – HEBE (6) – GRAZALEMA (10) – FORCE TRANQUILLE (5)

Summary: LAZZAT (1) won his first six races last year, including the Prix Maurice De Geest (Gr.1) at Deauville over 1200m last August. He will strip fitter for his recent fourth at Saint-Cloud in early March and can score from JAMES’S DELIGHT (5), who was a creditable fifth at Doncaster in a Listed race in late March on his only run this year. He makes the trip from the UK. TOYOTOMI (2) won over 1100m early last month at Deauville and warrants respect. VICIOUS HARRY (3) is also one to consider.
SELECTIONS
LAZZAT (1) – JAMES’S DELIGHT (5) – TOYOTOMI (2) – VICIOUS HARRY (3)
RACE 9: DU REDON HANDICAP (TURF TRACK) (FROM MARSEILLE-BORELY RACE 4) – 2100M – TIME: 23:30 PRIZE MONEY: EUR20000
Summary: Plenty hold winning chances in this open handicap. POLYSPEED (2) brings some strong form to the table and is a narrow pick to make a successful handicap debut. CLEOD’OR (1) is consistently competitive and should be involved at the finish once again. MUELHEIMER PERLE (3) is at her best around this distance and would not be a surprise winner in this field. HENRY THE LION (4) must overcome a penalty for his last win but remains a serious contender.
SELECTIONS
POLYSPEED (2) – CLEOD’OR (1) – MUELHEIMER PERLE (3) – CARLSTON (7)
RACE 10: DE BARBERY HANDICAP (FIBRESAND TRACK) (FROM CHANTILLY RACE 9) – 1900M – TIME: 23:48 PRIZE MONEY: EUR22000
Summary: MANDRES (7) scored twice last year, on the turf and then on the PSF at Deauville in August over 1900m. She ran a decent race when fifth at the same track early last month and can get back in the winner’s circle. LETTYT FIGHT (4) can give the selection the most to think about. He was a good second at Deauville in April and is hard to ignore. MISTER JULES (3) is one for the each-way backers to latch on to. HERODION (10) is also a good option each way, up in trip today.
SELECTIONS
MANDRES (7) – LETTYT FIGHT (4) – MISTER JULES (3) – HERODION (10)
RACE 11: AUBAGNE HANDICAP (TURF TRACK) (FROM MARSEILLE-BORELY RACE 5) – 1700M – TIME: 00:05 PRIZE MONEY: EUR17000
Summary: THREE DREAMS (1) has hit the crossbar in two of her last three starts and could be ready to get her head in front in this competitive handicap. BLUFF (8) hasn’t won for a while but is consistent and should be in the mix once again. LIVING NELSON (2) is clearly more effective on turf and would not be a surprise winner here. KAPETANIOS (4) arrives in good form and looks well treated off this mark, so must be respected.
SELECTIONS
THREE DREAMS (1) – BLUFF (8) – LIVING NELSON (2) – KAPETANIOS (4)
RACE 12: TREVARESSE HANDICAP (TURF TRACK) (FROM MARSEILLE-BORELY RACE 6) – 1700M – TIME: 00:40 PRIZE MONEY: EUR15000
Summary: SPIRIT GREY (1) has been very consistent on the PSF this year and will appreciate the return to turf. He could finally break a long losing run. ESTOKENIA (3) scored off this handicap mark at Nîmes and poses a real threat in this line-up. EKTORIA (7) looked much happier back on grass last time and can go one better here. ROSISSIM (11) has been in top form recently and also enjoys this track.
SELECTIONS
SPIRIT GREY (1) – ESTOKENIA (3) – EKTORIA (7) – ROSISSIM (11)
RACE 13: RAYMOND MARTIN HANDICAP (TURF TRACK) (FROM MARSEILLE-BORELY RACE 7) – 1700M – TIME: 01:15 PRIZE MONEY: EUR20000
Summary: MAHJOUBA (4) has been very consistent of late and found only one too good in a handicap last month. She can go one better this time. LESBEK (6) showed marked improvement when switching to turf last time and could progress further. ELUSIVE BELARDO (1) is still a maiden but has been consistently placed on the PSF and cannot be ruled out. LILAROSE (8) is chasing a hat-trick after wins in claimers and is another who could shine in this field.
SELECTIONS
MAHJOUBA (4) – LESBEK (6) – ELUSIVE BELARDO (1) – LILAROSE (8)
RACE 14: DU PANIER STAKES (TURF TRACK) (FROM MARSEILLE-BORELY RACE 8) – 1800M – TIME: 01:50 PRIZE MONEY: EUR38000
Summary: CAMBRONNE (1) has held his form well all year and ran a solid third at ParisLongchamp last month. That effort sets the standard, and he can land this lucky last. BAY D’ARGENT (4) now seems to prefer the PSF but remains very competitive in a race like this. WALLY (2) hasn’t raced on turf since 2023 but shouldn’t be ruled out. LE BOSS (7) has had just four starts and is open to further improvement.
SELECTIONS
CAMBRONNE (1) – BAY D’ARGENT (4) – WALLY (2) – LE BOSS (7)
