Looks like a useful prospect and can follow up

Vichy on August 23rd. Won a claimer in July over 1600m. Consider
3. PROSECUTOR – Has been 2nd on both starts so far, the most recent in a Class 2 race at
Deauville on August 13th. Can be involved at the finish
4. CHANT DU LOUP – Has three unplaced runs so far, the latter over 1300m at Deauville in a
claimer on August 13th. Looks of limited ability
Summary: Impressive on his debut at Deauville in a race for unraced juveniles MARANOA
CHARLIE (1) has been found a nice race to follow up. He should have too much in his locker for
another sure-fire future winner in PROSECUTOR (3) who has been second on both of his runs.
He was expected to make more of a race of it last time after such a promising debut, but he
remains a horse with potential. YOUNG AND PROUD (2) won a claimer and has run with credit
since, but has work to do.

Summary: In an open race, it may pay to take a chance on ZYGFRYD (7) who showed a return
to form when second at Deauville 16 days ago. He won over this track back in 2022 and is wellhandicapped at the moment. TOPFINE (8) was fourth over 600m further at Deauville on her latest
outing but she has course form over this trip and should have a say. GREEN CURRY (4) is a
previous course winner in 2022 and shaped well last time when fourth on the PSF at Deauville.
MAGURO (9) heads the remainder.

3. SHIVA’S LEGACY – Unplaced on her sole run over 1400m at Dieppe on August 21st. Needs
improvement but will know more this time
4. AIVLIS – Fair 4th last time over 1600m at La Teste on August 31st in a maiden. Has place
claims
5. TWIN DOVER – Two unplaced runs so far, the latter over 1650m at Craon on August 31st.
Unlikely to threaten
6. MON ORPAILLEUSE – Well beaten on her sole start over 1400m at Chantilly on July 14th.
Can improve but others rate higher
7. AL JAFARA – Newcomer by Pinatubo, the dam was placed on her sole start. Has a taking
profile and is one to watch in the betting for clues
Summary: SHANDANA (1) won with something to spare on her debut at Deauville last month
and should be too smart for her rivals. LA FERVEUR (2) showed progress when she was second
on her latest start in a Class 2 race and looks like the one to give the selection the most to think
about. AIVLIS (4) has shown ability and can fight things out with SHIVA’S LEGACY (3) for minor
honours.

seen. Ought to be in the shake-up
7. DARIYANGEL – Unplaced last time, 4th before that over 1900m at Deauville in a Class 4
handicap on August 4th. Likes the PSF but others make more sense
8. ROHIRRIM LASS – Has several unplaced runs so far, the most recent over 1600m at Vittel in a
Class 4 handicap on August 12th. Needs to show a vast improvement to be involved

12. RECOLEROS – 4th two runs back over 1800m at Morlaix is the best form of late, that was on
May 12th. One to avoid
13. DREAM AGAIN – Did well when 3rd over 1900m at Deauville in a Class 4 handicap on
August 22nd on her latest outing. Won over track and trip in February. Hard to ignore
14. HOT SUMMER – Has four unplaced runs this year, the most recent when well beaten at
Deauville over 1900m in a Class 4 race on August 15th. Hard to fancy

16. NOT SO SILLY – Won at Vichy over 2000m in a Class 4 handicap on July 15th when last
racing. The track form has been poor recently and is best watched
17. VARINKA – Won over 2000m at Le Lion D’Angers in a Class 4 handicap on August 18th
when last racing. Has not got a good record at this venue and looks better on grass
Summary: LEJENDARIO (5) ran an encouraging race at Deauville when he was third in late
August and is given the marginal vote in this ahead of DREAM AGAIN (13) who also ran well on
the PSF at Deauville on August 22nd. She won over track and trip in February and is hard to
ignore. TREVOR SENORA (2) has been running well on the turf of late but he did run well at this
track when fourth in late December last year. He is worth considering. OSER (10) makes up the
shortlist.

Summary: LA FLUTE (6) has shown promise on all three starts so far. She was a decent fourth
at La Teste at the end of July and has placed form before that at this track. She can edge this on
her handicap debut from DESERT ROSE (4) who obliged when dropping in class last time into
claiming class at Dieppe. BOUJEE FILLY (3) was second in the Dieppe race and can once again
give a good account of herself. AVENTINO (11) looks best of the remainder.

Summary: KETAMINE BAILLY (13) has a good draw in stall 1 and ran a pleasing race when she

preferred to LUCI DEL FARO (7) who herself ran well at Deauville on the PSF when third 16 days
ago. She can make things interesting. CALCUTTA CUP (6) was a good second last time at
Deauville and is one to include in the place bet permutations. MARTIAL ART (10) is also worth
considering for a place.

one to beat. EXCALIBUR (7) has been knocking at the door on his last two starts and looks like
the main danger. KOUTSOUNAKOS (10) can not be excluded and has leading claims each way.
TATSTHEWAYTODOIT (4) is also worth a mention.

Summary: BELINSKOV (10) has good recent form over today’s 1900m journey when he was
second in a Class 3 race in early August at Deauville. TALK SHOW (6) could give the selection
the most to think about as he has run well at this track. Both have a slight concern with wide
starting positions. HADYA (1) has no worries in stall 2 and looks like a good option for the eachway backers. MANNE (9) is also one that can make the top four.

Group 3 event was a pleasing effort. LE TABOU (9) is a solid performer and will be expected to
