PICTURE (7) who won the Prix Eugene Adam (Gr.2) in late June when last seen and looks
progressive. ECONOMICS (4) won what is really an Epsom Derby trial at York when bolting up
by six lengths in the Dante Stakes (Gr.2) in May. He missed that possible race and has been
given time to mature. He will make things interesting. JAYAREBE (5) and ALMAQAM (1) both
have good form in the UK and can also be involved.

SELECTIONS

time but had good form before that and is in the mix. SPIRITUAL (10) heads the remainder.

8. AVRILOMANOIR – 3rd over 1200m at this track on July 7th in a Class 3 handicap when beaten
under a length. One to pay attention too
9. SIMPLY LOVELY – Won at this track and trip on July 7th when last racing in a Class 3
handicap. Hard to rule out
10. SISTER OF LOVE – Has six unplaced runs of late since a win over 1200m at Fontainebleau
in a Class 3 handicap on March 25th. Has a place chance
11. SCARFACE – Two unplaced runs of late, 2nd before that over 1300m at Parislongchamp on
June 6th in a Class 3 handicap. Needs to be more reliable

July 26th. Might be in the handicappers grip
13. JASMIN DORE – Unplaced last time, won before that over 1200m at Toulouse in a Class 4
handicap on June 19th. Opposable
14. EL COMANDANTE – Unplaced last time, 4th before that at Deauville over 1400m in a Class 3
handicap on April 10th. Hardly inspiring
15. FUCHSIA – 4th two runs ago over 1200m at this track behind SIMPLY LOVELY (9) in a Class
3 handicap on July 7th. Needs a few to falter
16. HORTENSIA BASC – Credible 2nd at this track and trip behind SIMPLY LOVELY (9) in a
Class 3 handicap on July 7th. On more favourable terms she can make things interesting

Summary: VICTORY SALUTE (1) won by a length over course and distance when racing here
14 days ago. This requires more but he will be in a good frame of mind after that success.
LOVELY ANGEL (6) looks like the main danger, she won two runs ago at Le Touquet and is very
honest. ISMAEL PAINT (5) is one to include in all place bet permutations. AVRILOMANOIR (8)
likes this straight 1200m and was a good third recently behind SIMPLY LOVELY (9) in July at this
track.
