Race Summary: Summary: LIKE A BUTTERFLY (6) was much improved last run without the head-gear. She has been struggling to win but Sean Tarry looks to have picked the right race. HEAD GIRL (5) is never far off but also been struggling to shed her maiden. Andre Nel stretches her an extra furlong which could be the right move. LADYBUG (3) is lightly raced but did find some market support on debut when a distant fourth and is sure to improve on that effort. TAKE YOUR TIME (1) made a modest debut but is likely to improve on that showing. (Andrew Harrison: 5-6-3-1).

She takes to the poly for the first time for Barend Botes but was much improved last time out and appears to have come to hand. HER ROYALTY (7) may have found her last start a touch short for Mike Miller. She should prove better over this trip and should be primed for this. DYNASTY’S LAST (6) has been disappointing but with a 4kg claimer aboard and a light weight she could find the frame. QONDANEKUKHANYENI (4) showed some improvement last run and the extra furlong should suit. She also has a light weight. (Andrew Harrison: 7-3-6-4).

MOVE TO PROVE (8) has improved with every start for Frank Robinson and although he has the widest draw he goes well on the poly and should go well with his handy weight. COSMIC CAPTAIN (5) may have found his last run a touch too far. His penultimate run was a useful effort over the trip and he rates a chance for Yogas Govender. SALT ‘N PEPPER (2) made good improvement second start for Mike Miller over course and distance. Mathew Thackeray stays with the ride and can get the better of stable companion RECORD HIGH (4) with stable jockey Tristan Godden aboard who did find betting support on debut and did not finish far off behind Helsinki. Race Summary: Summary: Dean Kannemeyer’s gelding THE REAL PRINCE (8) has been tossed in at the deep end after his facie maiden win at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth. He got a hefty rating but does look to be useful and he will need to be as he takes on some salted veterans. EXCEPT TEMPTATION (5) had his last success over course and distance and has put in two smart efforts on the turf since for Peter Muscutt. He was behind the Kannemeyer-trained Teflon Man last time out so Kannemeyer should have a good line on his likely rival. GOOD TRAVELLER (4) is slowly coming down in the ratings and a switch to the poly could bring out the best. DONQUERARI (1) got a three-pound penalty for his close-up second last run and although he gets a 4kg claimer aboard it may not be enough. (Andrew Harrison: 8-5-4-1).

FASHION MISTRESS (1) takes on males but has good form over course and distance and with a handy weight from a plum draw she should be competitive. ANOTHERDAYINAFRICA (5) has been up against slightly stronger at recent outings and comes in with a light weight with Muzi Yeni back in the saddle.
