Summary: LA GUAPISIMA (4) ran well in both starts to date but she will definitely enjoy the rise in
trip and could register a first career success. HONEY STAR (7) ran a promising 3rd first time out
at Chantilly over 1.200 meters and with the natural improvement should be a key player too.
SIGNORIA PIAZZA (3) has plenty of progress to offer and cannot be discounted. HOSHIANA (6)
will also be a lot smarter than when very slow in action on debut at Marseille three weeks ago.

Summary: Runner-up on both starts thus far including last time at the venue over 1.200 meters,
NUIT DE L’HOMME (2) is the choice to record a first career success. VIVRE LIBRE (1) has also
been consistent and was a game second at Saint-Cloud last time. A repeat of this effort should see
him go close once again. BELVEDERE PALACE (5) ran with promises first time out and should
come on for the run. REVOLUTIONNAIRE (4) is surely capable of better than what he showed on
debut.

later. NOBLE AMBER (5) posted a nice late finish effort at Longchamp last time out and in similar
form should go very close once again. RED NUDE ROUGE (4) finished just behind the former at
last time and is also in with a chance.

SELECTIONS

Summary: LA YOMOGUINESS (3) is back over the course & distance where she registered her
last success and comes in this race in good shape. She can score again. GOLD PALACE (8)
bounced back to winning form at Saint-Cloud and should be closely involved here too. FUNTANO
(10) is on the rise and likes the course. DARLYVI (9) was not far behind the former last time and is

SELECTIONS
LA YOMOGUINESS (3) – GOLD PALACE (8) – FUNTANO (10) – DARLYVI (9)

R5 – PRIX DU PAVILLON – 2400m (a1m1/2) – TURF – Class 4 Divided Handicap – Flat – EUR € 15,000

1. REGINA LILLIE – Seldom far off the mark in handicaps at this level last year but hasn’t looked
the same in four comeback outings this term. Finished a well-beaten 15th in a 1900m PSF handicap
at Chantilly on 26 April
2. RESPLENDOR – Versatile veteran who caught the eye when 4th on his reappearance (12 May)
in a handicap over 2600m at Châteaubriant. Winning chance
3. TARCENAY – Unreliable veteran handicapper but does have sound references, including a 4th
in a 2000m handicap at this venue on 28 May. Dark horse
4. FEEDESREVES – Has bounced back to form recently by finishing 4th in consecutive handicap
appearances – on PSF over 3200m and over 3150m at this venue last time on 9 May. High on the
shortlist
5. WELL DE VINDECY – Hard-knocking veteran mare with sound references on both surfaces. Has
to improve to be competitive here after finishing a modest 5th at Wissembourg in a minor conditions
race over 3000m on 20 May
6. CROCUS BORGET – Runner-up in consecutive recent outings, over 2600m at Châtillon-surChalaronne on 22 April and over 2900m at Cavaillon on 4 May. Ought to make his presence felt
again
7. BRAZING – Inconsistent veteran with sufficient means to make his presence felt in a race of this
nature, especially on the evidence of his reassuring 5th in a 2400m handicap at Vichy on 15 May.
Keep safe
8. LE HOULME – Returned to form with an improved/encouraging 3rd in a handicap over 2500m
at Le Croisé-Laroche on 19 May. Not taken lightly
9. FETE JOYEUSE – Has regained momentum with each outing this year and confirmed as much
by finishing 2nd over 2600m at Châtillon-sur-Chalaronne in a conditions race on 20 May.
Confirmation required

all been achieved on the PSF, the latest (3rd) in over 1800m at Lyon-La Soie on 6 April. Outsider

consecutive handicaps recently, the latest over 2600m at Marseille-Borely on 27 May
12. LADYBUG – Finished 2nd in a PSF handicap over 2150m at Lyon-La Soie in March 2023 but

Can be ruled out
13. LOVELY DOLLY – Runner-up in a PSF handicap over 1800m at Lyon-La Soie in October but
has been off the boil ever since, finishing unplaced in all 10 subsequent outings. Others preferred
14. DARENIX – Seldom far off the mark but remains without a win after 47 appearances. Didn’t go
unnoticed (6th) in a 2600m handicap at Marseille-Borely on 27 May but has no more than a minor
place chance                                                                                                                                15. MOODY CHOP – A 28-start maiden whose improved/consistent recent appearances have come
at a lover level – the latest (4th) at Wissembourg in a minor conditions race over 3000m on 20 May

Summary: RESPLENDOR (2) finished an eye-catching 4th when reverting to the flat on his
reappearance at Châteaubriant and, with the benefit of that comeback outing under his belt, is likely
to confirm that encouragement with improved fitness on his side. Veteran mare AMIATA (11) has
filled the runners-up berth in consecutive recent starts so she wouldn’t be winning out of turn and
is also a serious candidate for success. However, the same could be said of hard-knocker
CROCUS BORGET (6) who has finished 2nd in back-to-back recent outings too. FEEDESREVES
(4) and LE HOULME (8) complete the shortlist.

SELECTIONS
RESPLENDOR (2) – AMIATA (11) – CROCUS BORGET (6) – FEEDESREVES (4)

R6 – PRIX LOUIS DUTEL – 2000m (a1m1/4) – TURF – Handicap – Flat – EUR € 20,000

1. INSPIRADO – Posted a career-best effort when finishing 2nd over this track and trip on his
handicap debut on 8 May. Winning chance
2. O’WOOD – Has benefitted from the removal of headgear – confirmed as much by finishing 2nd

player on his handicap debut
3. DSCHINGIS ART – Finished an encouraging 4th on his handicap debut over track and trip on 8
May when equipped with the headgear (retained) for the first time. Not taken lightly
4. MIRADERO – Consistent performer with sound references and solid form credentials, including
a last-start 4th on his handicap debut 1700m at Marseille-Borely on 10 May. Not taken lightly
5. LIKING – Inconsistent performer but does boast sound references/form credentials, including a
last-start 2nd over 2100m in a claimer at Saint-Cloud on 10 May. Warrants respect
6. OLD LION CEN – Has improved in two starts with headgear fitted – finished 5th on both
occasions, the latest over 2400m at Saint-Cloud on 14 May. Making his handicap debut
7. NIKKALUOKTA – Yet to find the frame in four appearances but not been beaten far in each
outing, the latest (5th) over this track and trip on his reappearance/handicap debut on 8 May. Dark
horse
8. ARUNDHATI – Unplaced in both outings last year and could only finish 7th on her reappearance
at Châteaubriant over 1950m on 27 April. Others preferred
9. CHANAZ – Won a claimer at Compiègne in March before proving his competitiveness in
handicaps off his current mark. Finished a commendable 3rd in a 2000m handicap at Saint-Cloud
on 10 May
10. ERABLE – Improved with the benefit of a much-needed comeback outing under his belt to finish
an eye-catching 3rd on his handicap debut over this track and trip on 17 April. Keep safe
11. SKADOOSH – Consistent performer with sound references in handicaps on both surfaces,
including a last-start 2nd over 2000m at Nancy on 5 May. Attractive outsider

Summary: INSPIRADO (1) bounced back from a disappointing previous outing to finish 2nd on
handicap debut at this venue last time. He needs only to confirm that form/improvement to open
his account. However, he will have to thwart the likely challenges of resurgent O’WOOD (2) and
Henri-Alex Pantall’s runner CHANAZ (9), whose performances at this level recently have been
encouraging. Consistent MIRADERO (4) and LIKING (5), runner-up in a claimer last time out,
appeal most of the remainder.

SELECTIONS
INSPIRADO (1) – O’WOOD (2) – CHANAZ (9) – MIRADERO (4)

R7 – PRIX DO RE MI FA SOL – 2400m (a1m1/2) – TURF – Maiden Race – Flat – EUR € 21,000

1. PAY TO LEARN – Group I Grand Prix de Paris entry. Made the expected improvement after an
introductory outing to finish 2nd over 2000m at Fontainebleau on 30 April – more to come

3rd over 2000m on 8 May at this venue. Confirmation expected over this extended distance

finish 2nd over 2300m on his reappearance at Angers on 4 May. Open to further progress
4. ZERAFA – Group I Prix de Diane entry. Confirmed the promise of her debut 3rd with a fastfinishing 3rd over 2200m at ParisLongchamp on 5 May – should have more to offer over this
extended trip
5. TRAV’LIN LIGHT – Failed to confirm the promise of her debut 4th over 2100m by only finishing
7th over 2200m on 5 May at ParisLongchamp. Improvement needed

Summary: ZERAFA (4), whose second dam is none other than the champion Zarkava, has
revealed sufficient means in 2 starts (finished 3rd on both occasions) to suggest she could win a
race of this nature, especially with this extended distance likely to unlock improvement. PAY TO
LEARN (1), with Group I entries to his name, fits a similar profile and ought to fight for victory,
despite conceding weight to the selection. GIBRALTAR (2) confirmed the promise of his debut (4th)
by finishing 3rd last time and will make his presence felt if building on that improvement.

SELECTIONS
ZERAFA (4) – PAY TO LEARN (1) – GIBRALTAR (2) – HUDSON (3)
