Perak Turf Club has allocated stables to newly licensed trainer A Punia Murthi.
Newly licensed trainer A Punia Murthi, aged 64 years old who hails from Singapore, started as a Stable Supervisor to Malcolm Thwaites in 2000. He was granted B Grade Trainer Licence in June 2003 but relinquished few months later in the same year.
In 2007, A Punia Murthi decided to make a comeback to the racing scene and was employed by trainer Bruce Marsh. Following stints with Sam Chua, Tan Soo Beng, Ng Kok Hoong/ Luke Danis, Peter Lee, Jason Lim and most recently Tan Han Wang, he managed to get his Professional Trainer Licence in May 2023.
A Punia Murthi is currently licensed from 26 July 2023 to 31 December 2023.
