Hollywoodbets Greyville hosts an eight-race programme on the Poly Track this Sunday which looks to be a highly competitive card.

There doesn’t look to be any easy pickings for punters and the Pick 6 is likely to return a healthy dividend.

The first race will jump at 12:15 with ten runners carded where Valli Gal makes some serious appeal for trainer Doug Campbell and jockey Muzi Yeni. It can be said that she hasn’t had the greatest of luck when she ran behind Kingdom Of Gold however, she meets a field where she looks sure to make her presence felt in a big way.

It’s no secret that her yard rate her so she should be one of the leading contenders for top honours. The main danger could be Nonoti from the Michael Roberts yard who has been consistently placed in recent outings however she has had many tries. Kitty Mo from the Duncan Howells yard made steady improvement in her last start and has scope to go well here.

Shanta’s Pride in race two for trainer Peter Muscutt is the narrow first selection but with no degree of confidence. She has a top rider aboard and her recent form is good so she must be respected. Double Dream , Sleek As Silk and Imperious Destiny are others to factor into equations in a very tricky race.

Race three doesn’t get any easier with it being the first leg of the Pick 6, Punters are advised to include a few. Hollywoodbound from the Gareth Van Zyl yard has run behind some decent sorts and must be included in all bets. If she brings her “A’’ game here she will win.

Zinikele shoulders a light mass and could be dangerous from the best draw. Let It Snow cannot be ignored even though her form on paper says otherwise. If things go her way she will run well.

Hierkommiebokkie has solid credentials and it would be no surprise to see her challenging into the closing stages. Kailene, Valerias Dream, Bevies Delight and Sashway Away are others that are certainly not out of this contest and the list could go on.

Release Me looks the one to beat in race four. Muzi Yeni rides for trainer Paul Lafferty, he has the best draw and is holding form so this could be the race to narrow things down when it comes to the Pick 6 as he is sure to love this trip.

Race 6 the New Turf Carriers eThekwini Sprint has attracted a competitive field of eleven runners. USA’s Hope from the Dean Kannemeyer yard is holding good form and could be the horse to beat. He has finished close up in his last three starts and threating to get that third career win under his belt however he will not have an easy task against this field.

Music Is Life is another who is in great form. Siphesihle Hlengwa rides for trainer Gareth Van Zyl, it must be noted he does come from a short break so if not in need of the run will be right there.

Captain Bombshell warrants huge respect here and could blow this field away. He could be the unknown quantity here as he has beaten some smart sorts in his career. Ride On returns after a long break however can’t completely be ignored. Countdown and Diani are others who are very capable of getting involved here.

Jazz Diva looks the one they all have to beat in the last when she will attempt to make it a hat-trick of wins, Robert Khathi knows her well and she has a decent enough draw which will allow her to hopefully get a decent position in the running and strike at the right time.

There are many other runners with form who could make the frame including Malcolm’s Dream, Rain Wear as well as Devils And Dust. It may pay to go wide here.
