Equinox ranked the best in the world

After a dominating victory in the Dubai Sheema Classic (G1) at Meydan Racecourse on March 25, star Japanese galloper EQUINOX was propelled to the top position on the leader board, with a 129 rating, in the second edition of the Longines World’s Best Racehorse Rankings for 2023.

The previous leader GOLDEN SIXTY from Hong Kong, was relegated to second with a rating of 125. Ahead of another top-class Japanese horse in TITLEHOLDER that ranked a hefty 124.

LUCKY SWEYNESSEROMANTIC WARRIOR and CALIFORNIA SPANGLE are all highly placed on a leaderboard dominated by Japanese and Hong Kong raced horses.
