A competitive card awaits punter at Hollywoodbets Greyville on Sunday where the entire card has many runners who are lightly raced and improving.
Swiss Parade from the Tony Rivalland yard in the opener made a smart debut and has the best of draws. She was fancied on debut which is a plus so the expected improvement is almost certain however there are dangers. Fortune Bay from the Michael Miller yard is another who was fancied on debut and she ran extremely well.
It doesn’t end there because Guest Getorixx from the Alyson Wright yard has been consistently placed with Keagan De Melo aboard who is booting home winners left right and centre which makes it very tricky.
Race two doesn’t get any easier where the narrow first selection is Zinekele for trainer Gareth Van Zyl with Strydom aboard. She ran well in her last start and is a massive player here. Again, it’s not cut and dry because her stable companion La Pura Vida made a very smart debut effort. If she builds on that run which is very likely she will be right there.
Gareth Van Zyl could have a very good day on the card as he saddles Captainofthegreen in race four. Although he just won his maiden he is highly thought of and it certainly wouldn’t surprise to see him follow up after his maiden win where he was still green. He looks progressive so don’t leave him out.
Money Heist is another who is rated by the yard and he steps up in trip in race six which he will love. Piere Strydom is aboard so you’re sure to get a good run for your money from the talented son of Gimmethegreenlight.
The Beach Beauty Mile has a compact field of 8 runners. Preference is given to Harley’s Fate who ran well in her last start. She was fancied to run well on that occasion and should go well stepping up to the mile now.
All in all, there’s quality racing and there could be some rising stars in the making but only time will tell.
