The Toby and Trent Edmonds-trained mare PRETTY DEVINE can bounce back after a last-start defeat in the $19,000 Class 2 Handicap over 1200m from Beaudesert racecourse, Australia on Monday.
PRETTY DEVINE has been in fine form this preparation, winning once two starts ago while finishing runner-up on her other two outings. PRETTY DEVINE, generally, vies to make all in the running, but last start, she settled further back in the field before charging home late to miss by a length.
From a low draw, and with jockey Andrew Mallyon in the saddle, PRETTY DEVINE looks all set to get back to her winning ways.
CONDRIEU FOR O’SHEA
Five-year-old mare CONDRIEU is on track to shed her maiden tag for trainer John O’Shea in the $27,000 Maiden Handicap over 1600m from Goulburn racecourse, Australia on Tuesday.
CONDRIEU was well prepared for her debut on 16 September, trialling well multiple times. Stepping out in a $50k Maiden over 1400m at Newcastle, she caught the eye with a fast-finishing run into third.
