Summary: FORT ETNA (8) won nicely on debut last year. She clearly needed her first run of the season and improved last time out. Fitter now, she could be ready to score. TULPAR (4) has been disappointing in stronger fields in Germany but could be a threat in this company. CHARLEMAGNE (5) showed improvement at this track last time out and could go one better. CYLENECHOPE (6) has only been modest in claimers of late but could make the frame.

SELECTIONS
FORT ETNA (8) – TULPAR (4) – CHARLEMAGNE (5) – CYLENECHOPE (6)

RACE 2: LE CHEVAL MAIDEN STAKES (TURF TRACK) (FROM VITTEL RACE 4) – 1600M – TIME: 19:06 PRIZE MONEY: EUR11400

Summary: UTXA (4) showed good improvement at Cholet, and that run clearly sets the standard for this race. PROLIXE (9) makes her debut, but her dam was a Listed winner, and she may well be a threat. PRINCESS ZALTANA (6) was not disgraced in her two starts at Saint-Cloud and looks ready for a big performance. SATOSHI (5) showed inexperience on debut but is likely to improve and could make the frame this time around.

SELECTIONS
UTXA (4) – PROLIXE (9) – PRINCESS ZALTANA (6) – SATOSHI (5)

RACE 3: PATRIMOINE HANDICAP (TURF TRACK) (FROM VITTEL RACE 5) – 1600M – TIME: 19:38 PRIZE MONEY: EUR15400

Summary: JESS LIVERMORE (3) has yet to win a race but was not disgraced in a claimer at Chantilly in May. That run was on the PSF, and she could go one better here. NO TIME (16) hasn’t won for a while but can be a threat off this handicap mark. WHY CHOPE (2) has won three handicaps this year and will be a danger despite carrying a penalty. GOLDEN BEACH (1) has also been in strong form recently and would not be a surprise winner.

SELECTIONS
JESS LIVERMORE (3) – NO TIME (16) – WHY CHOPE (2) – GOLDEN BEACH (1)

RACE 4: BUTTE BLANCHE MAIDEN STAKES (TURF TRACK) (FROM CHANTILLY RACE 1) – 1400M – TIME: 19:58 PRIZE MONEY: EUR27400

Summary: RODANYA (6) ran well when fourth on debut at Clairefontaine-Deauville earlier this month. Further improvement is very likely, and she should make a bold bid to beat these rivals. LANTANA (7) ran three fair races last year and has a winning chance if fit. THUNDERBIRD (2) was not disgraced at ParisLongchamp, should improve, and can be a danger. WOLKE SIEBEN (9) is also capable of building on some modest performances.

SELECTIONS
RODANYA (6) – LANTANA (7) – THUNDERBIRD (2) – WOLKE SIEBEN (9)

RACE 5: VITTEL THERMAL STAKES (TURF TRACK) (FROM VITTEL RACE 6) – 2400M – TIME: 20:15 PRIZE MONEY: EUR11000

Summary: A competitive handicap. RONALDO (2) is not the most reliable but clearly enjoys this track and can carry a penalty to victory. MOMOUR (4) is better than his last run suggests, and his consistency should see him in the mix again. VINO (5) is yet to win and can be unpredictable, but he’s capable of contesting the finish. GEMMYO (3) is suited to the distance and ran some solid races earlier this year.

SELECTIONS
RONALDO (2) – MOMOUR (4) – VINO (5) – GEMMYO (3)

RACE 6: FOSSE LA COQUE MAIDEN STAKES (TURF TRACK) (FROM CHANTILLY RACE 2) – 1400M – TIME: 20:33 PRIZE MONEY: EUR27400

Summary: RED NUREYEV (6) bounced back with a good win at Strasbourg and can follow up to take out this lucky last race. PICNIC ROYAL (12) is suited to the course and distance and should be right there at the finish yet again. HAPPY VALENTINE (1) has needed both runs this year and is capable of significant improvement. EVERSTORM (2) is in very good form and can follow up on a recent win at this track.

SELECTIONS
RED NUREYEV (6) – PICNIC ROYAL (12) – HAPPY VALENTINE (1) – EVERSTORM (2)

Summary: TARATEEL (1), a granddaughter of the illustrious multiple Group 1 winner Treve, hails from a yard with a strong record in unveiling talented newcomers. CHILD OF VISION (4) boasts an appealing pedigree, and any market support would be a telling sign of confidence. ARKANSAS (6) also makes appeal and is likely to be well tuned by her capable connections. PERSIAN CENTURION (8), out of a mare who notched seven wins—including a Grade 2 success in the USA—is worth considering.

SELECTIONS
TARATEEL (1) – CHILD OF VISION (4) – ARKANSAS (6) – PERSIAN CENTURION (8)

Summary: FEELINGS (3) represents a top yard in excellent form and looks poised to make a winning debut. MATURE (7) has an eye-catching profile, being out of a mare who placed at Group 1 level, and should be involved when it matters most. PERSIAN IMP CEN (8) is another debutant worth monitoring closely—any market support would be significant. BUDOKAN (2) hails from a stable known for producing sharp newcomers and is one to keep onside.

SELECTIONS
FEELINGS (3) – MATURE (7) – PERSIAN IMP CEN (8) – BUDOKAN (2)

RACE 9: LABELLEMONTAGNE HANDICAP (TURF TRACK) (FROM VITTEL RACE 8) – 2400M – TIME: 21:32 PRIZE MONEY: EUR15400

Summary: AGAT (4) has shaped well in two starts this year. His latest effort, when fifth at Compiegne in a Class 3 race, was a reasonably good performance. He will strip fit today and can get back in the winner’s circle. FORZA CAPITANO (5) ran a solid race at this racecourse when second in a Class 2 handicap in late June and rates a threat. SIMPLY LOVELY (9) has been in top form with two wins, and a hat-trick is possible. TUDO BEM (6) can improve over this trip and is better than recent form figures. MAJOR OAK (2) heads the rest.

SELECTIONS
AGAT (4) – FORZA CAPITANO (5) – SIMPLY LOVELY (9) – TUDO BEM (6)

RACE 10: DARLEY PRIX CHLOE (GROUP 3) (TURF TRACK) (FROM CHANTILLY RACE 4) – 1800M – TIME: 21:50 PRIZE MONEY: EUR73200

Summary: CATHEDRAL (1) has performed well since she won her maiden on debut last September. Her latest fourth in the Group 1 Coronation Stakes at Ascot in June was a pleasing effort. She can get a deserved success at the expense of RELAXX (5), who won nicely in a Listed race at Chantilly on June 28th. ROSA SALVAJE (2) will find this easier than the Prix de Diane (Gr.1) when unplaced last month, and is best judged on her Class 2 win in May at Chantilly.

SELECTIONS
CATHEDRAL (1) – RELAXX (5) – ROSA SALVAJE (2) – WHATABOUTISM (4)

RACE 11: DE LA PEPINIERE LISTED STAKES (TURF TRACK) (FROM CHANTILLY RACE 5) – 2100M – TIME: 22:25 PRIZE MONEY: EUR43900

Summary: QUISISANA (8) is seeking a hat-trick of wins after a recent success at Compiegne in a Class 2 race late last month. She is preferred ahead of DOHA (4), who makes the trip from the UK after two unplaced efforts in Pattern races, the latest at Ascot in a Listed race in June. MME JOURDAIN (11) is a useful operator and was a decent second in a Group 3 race two runs back at Parislongchamp in late April. She can be involved, as can ZABEEL LIGHT (3), who has run well on both starts this year.

SELECTIONS
QUISISANA (8) – DOHA (4) – MME JOURDAIN (11) – ZABEEL LIGHT (3)
