Summary: NIGHTTIME (3) won a good race over 1400m at Saint-Cloud on 13 June. He is coming along the right way and can follow up with another victory. VIVA LA SKIDS (4) is unbeaten from two starts to date. She takes on males but has ability and can bring up the hat-trick. SIRIUS A (2) is having his first run in France after winning a Maiden at Leicester on 14 June. The booking of Christophe Soumillon is a big plus and he cannot be discounted. IKOTOFETSY (1) won his maiden over 1400m at Saint-Cloud. He is a progressive type and should be right there.

Summary: TRIBALIST (1) comes into this contest off a victory in the Group 2 Prix Du Muguet on 1 June. He has plenty of class and should be the one to beat. BEAUVATIER (2) needed his first run this year in the Group 3 Prix Du Palais-Royal. He will strip much fitter and good improvement is expected. SPYCATCHER (7) is better than his last start in a Group 3 at Newcastle on 28 June. He has won on this course previously and cannot be discounted. TOYOTOMI (8) comes off a fourth-place finish in the Group 3 Prix Du Gros-Chene on 1 June. Maxime Guyon retains the ride, and he must be considered.

TORTISAMBERT (3) is better than his last run over 1400m at Parislongchamp. He jumps from pole position and is a threat on best form shown. WE RIDE THE WORLD (5) comes off two good third place finishes and with luck in running, he should be involved at the finish. WESTMINSTER NIGHT (4) has finished second in his last two starts. Tony Piccone rides and he cannot be left out.

Summary: EPSON BLUE CEN (13) has produced three good runs this year. She comes off a good third-place finish in the Listed Prix Volterra on 8 June. From a good draw of four, she may be the one to side with. GHOUFRANN (2) has faced stronger in her last two starts, the latest in the Group 2 Prix De Sandringham. She has scope and is one of the leading contenders. MEDUSA MERGER (9) comes into this contest in good form and is a big runner with Christophe Soumillon retaining the ride. HONEYFLOWER (7) followed up her maiden win with a good second-place finish. She takes on stronger but has the ability to be competitive.

Summary: COSMIC YEAR (3) ran a terrific race when second in the Irish 2,000 Guineas (Gr.1) in Curragh (IRE) late May. This 1400m trip should suit, and he can go one better. MARANOA CHARLIE (1) was a convincing winner of the Prix Paul de Moussac (Gr.3) over 1400m at ParisLongchamp in early June and looks the main danger. SHADOW OF LIGHT (2), a Group 1 winner in last year’s Middle Park Stakes (1200m), returned with a strong second in the 2,000 Guineas at Newmarket and remains a key contender. SILIUS (7) completes the shortlist.
