11. RECITING beat all bar WA Sires’ Produce Stakes fourth Chiclett in an unusually hot Northam maiden and maps to get a sweet run from her inside gate.

1. TREASURED CROWN is a So You Think-sired half brother of Listed victor Adornment and the only offspring of his mother, Jewelled, not to win a race.

2. MIAMI CITY has placed third on each of his two starts despite experiencing issues.

7. ENCHANTING GIRL has nearly a length to make up on Miami City from two weeks ago.

5. TYCOON STORM was held up until 100 metres from the post when beaten less than a length by Ration Aly and Point Taken in a Saturday graduation.

6. INFLATION is the map galloper and also makes the same class drop as Tycoon Storm.

3. BOGART is Listed placed and resumes off a trial win but doubts about the value of his form persist.

4. OUQBA TED made late ground first up in the Ration Aly/Point Taken/Tycoon Storm race.

2. FIERY WATER overraced in winkers two weeks ago but Adam Durrant makes a gear change and there was a fair bit to like about his Belmont maiden victory.

7. IGARASHI tramped wide and displayed greenness when breaking through at Belmont three weeks ago.

6. HIP WIGGLE resumes off a 103-day spell and almost dead heated with Igarashi at Ascot in April.

4. POWER AND PASSION’s best runs have been when he has been on the fresh side and his performances this time last year were up to this level.

8. BOLSHOI GAL began awkwardly and settled in midfield for the first time on her 13th start but she made light work of her rivals to justify favouritism.

2. GRAND DESIGN teams up with an apprentice for the first time, should do little work from gate three and drops back into a Class Three contest.

6. SHOWZALI can win without surprising but neither 1,200 metres nor barrier 12 is ideal for her.

3. EUROTRIP is likely to go looking for the cutaway after being held up on his last two starts.

5. SENTIMENTAL QUEEN beat a field of exposed gallopers by three lengths two weeks ago but at least she demonstrated that a staying trip is up her alley.

3. ARTIE’S JEWELS races beyond 1,800 metres for the first time but her body of recent work warrants respect on a Wednesday.

13. ABELDANE set alight last week’s middle-distance event and, remarkably, he registered the second fastest last 200m after leading most of the way.

12. AMERISSA is another galloper which may have benefitted from participating in last week’s extremely fast-tempo race.
