Macau government halts simulcast

The popular simulcast of horse racing action from Macau has come to an abrupt end after the application by the Macau Jockey Club to simulcast local horse racing pictures overseas remains pending by the local Macau government.

It is understood the Macau Jockey Club is continuing to engage the government department to obtain approval for the import of foreign horse racing and the export simulcast of Macau racing to its international racing partners.

At this stage it is believed the simulcast of Macau racing in Singapore and Malaysia will not be seen again in the near future.
