Resumes off a 90-day break and was last seen at this track and distance sitting on pace in a fast run race in which they the returned well-above average early sectionals, setting it up for those off the pace and with the winner coming from last-to-first. Despite the early hard work he stuck on well only to be beaten 2 1/4 lengths, hence good merit to his run.
He looked well in a recent trial and on prior form, where he has scored a win over up-and-comer Mighty Giant, he looks well placed to be a leading hope in an open Class 4 contest. Another positive is he comes into barrier 5 after drawing wide at his past two starts.
Race 6 Number 7 Hello Beauty
Will have to having things to go horribly wrong for thriving three-year-old Wellington, who vies to remain unbeaten from four starts, however he enters this race off a solid run and has to be given an each-way hope. At this track and distance 14 days ago, he led them up at near eight lengths above average to the 400m, but only faded late inside the 150m, beaten 1 1/4 lengths – a solid effort.
Again, he looks the sole leaders in the race, and if to be rated well, he could inject some value in the exotic bets if he can hold for a place.

His second fastest last 400m sectional in his last race had good merit to it as he also was required to exert ample energy in the middle section. The market gave him little hope that day, sent around at an SP of 145-1, however being from the in-form stable of leading trainer Ricky Yiu, he has to be respected as an improving type nearing a win.
Race 3 Number 8 Judy’s Star
Had clear excuses last time out went sent around the well-backed $2.70 favourite, rearing at the start and losing considerable ground. Returned a 21.90 second middle section – the fastest in the race by 0.40 seconds – as well as returning the second fastest last 400m, so plenty to like about his sixth placing. Meets a hot field but has to be respected based on SPs and current form.
