Race 6 Number 5 Heza Beauty

Sent out as the $3.1 favourite at this track and distance 28 days ago, but reared at the start and came out over 10 lengths last. Sectionally, it was a fast run race, with the lead speed over three lengths faster than average to the 400m, so HEZA BEAUTY was entitled to run on into third as he did, but to come from 5 1/4 lengths off at the 400m and beaten one-length required a huge effort.

He has been back to the trials and looked well and provided a clean getaway this week, he looks to map well from barrier 3 and in a wide-open contest, he is one of the top hopes in the event.

Race 10 Number 1 Good Beauty

The video replay of his last start showed his fifth placing, beaten 3 3/4 lengths, had plenty of merit to it as he failed to muster and settled well back in the field. Positioned 9th at the 400m and standing the lead speed 5 1/2 lengths, he defied the race shape to make up good ground over concluding stages.

From barrier 3, should me muster this week, should see him map closer as he has shown in recent starts, and he is capable of surprising in this field.

Race 3 Number 1 Jade Fortune

Had his first start in Class 4 at this track and distance 18 days ago, getting well back in the field after jumping from barrier 14 but making up good ground late in the second fastest last 400m in the race to check home fifth, beaten 2 1/2 lengths. Based on prior form, he is capable of mapping closer from a better draw this week, and a Class 4 win should occur soon.

Race 8 Number 1 Elite Patch

Overlook last start as he was unsuited in a 1650m race at this track, instead focus on previous runs over sprint trips where he has always returned positive late splits. A return to this class and this track and distance holds him in good stead to be one of the horses to beat.
