Race 1 Number 7 The Full Bloom
Was unsuited last start over this distance on the AWT, and was steadied early from where he stood no chance, however he was far from disgraced to only finish five lengths astern.
Prior to that, he was beaten as favourite over 1400m at Sha Tin, but lost ground at the start before flashing home into fourth. He looks a knockout chance in a race of this nature, should he gain better luck in running.
Race 4 Number 3 The Runner
Ran his best race yet two starts ago over 1400m at Sha Tin, which was his second try in Class 4, finishing close to Fantastic Show who has continued winning ways. Next time out, he drew barrier 10 and endured a wide trip early all the while returning above average early fractions.
Understandably, he faded in the straight, beaten 5 1/2 lengths. Dropping back to 1200m, and coming into barrier 1 where he should map a lot better, gives him a chance to bounce back into the money this week.

Race 8 Number 6 MIG ENERGY
Races third-up to 1200m after two promising runs over the minimum trip. Last start up the Sha Tin straight, settled rearward but closed off the second fastest in the event to check home fifth, beaten 2 3/4 lengths. Looks ready for the 1200m now and could inject some value into the exotics.
Race 9 Number 4 Dances With Dragon
Looks to have relished a stable change based on his impressive win at this track two starts ago, before going on to race on the AWT where he looked unsuited – as his SP suggests – but he still returned good late splits to check home fourth that night. Should appreciate a return to Happy Valley and Purton jumps back aboard which is also a positive.
