Kranji Track Spy, February 15

Race 6  Number 7 QIJI ACHEEVA

Has not raced since finishing a solid fourth behind unbeaten youngster INFERNO in the Group 3 Saas Fee Stakes in November last year. The form has since been franked with second place getter BIG HEARTED and third place getter ROCKET STAR both subsequently scoring in Class 4.

Based on the strength of his last run, he appears to have some ratings points up his sleeve, and in what appears a below par Novice field mixed with maiden runners, he can prove a big winning chance first-up.

Race 10  Number 2 IRVING LIPSCHITZ

Returns from a three-month spell after finishing second in a Kranji Stakes C race over 2000m last November. There was plenty of merit to that run as it was an extremely fast run race yet he still stuck on well late.

He has trialled well for his return and boasting a great 67 per cent winning strike rate first-up holds him in good stead to score.

Race 1  Number 1 ADMIRAL WINSTON

It pays to overlook his uncharacteristic performance last start when he hung out badly at the turn and lost considerable ground. To his credit, he still reeled off the best final 400m (22.73 sec) to finish ninth, beaten 4.7 lengths. He can prove hard to hold out in this class provided his racing manners improve.

Race 4  Number 3 AFALONHRO

Rattled home strongly from a rearward positon to check into third over 1200m in a quality Novice race last start while clocking the second best final split in 22.68 seconds. He is suited by the rise in distance and has to be included.
