Kranji Track Spy, January 18

Race 5  Number 1 ARNANTARA

Had no luck last start when he travelled three-wide throughout just off the speed after jumping from an outer alley. To his credit, he still sprinted well in the straight to just find one better over this track and distance.

He has trialled well since and with even luck in running, he can prove a big winning chance remaining in this class.

Race 6  Number 5 LEMON SQUASH

Was poorly weighted in a Restricted Maiden race last start and settled on speed from a wide barrier, sticking on well in the straight to finish fourth over this track and distance.

This week’s racing conditions will suit him better and he looks capable of breaking through against modest opposition.

Race 2  Number 3 ROCKET WINNER

Has finished third at his last two starts, each of which he reeled off the fastest final split. He is suited by the rise in distance this week and it will be no surprise to see him land his first win.

Race 8  Number 1 DRAGON DUKE

Was far from disgraced last start when he charged home late to finish fourth in a Class 1 race while recording the second best final 400m in 23.09 seconds. With a massive drop in class, he can make his presence felt late.
