VIDEO REPLAY STARS

Race 1  Number 1 BEAT THE LIGHT

Has not raced since finishing unplaced in a quality Class 4 race, of which winner PER INPOWER scored a Class 2 win recently, in August last year. Prior to that, he had been placed three times from as many starts in Restricted Maiden and Open Maiden company.

He is well prepared with two trials for his return and based on the strength of those runs, he can prove a big winning chance making his Class 5 debut this week.

Race 8  Number 2 LIM’S KNIGHT

It pays to overlook his disappointing last start as an awkward jump ruined his winning chance, instead focusing on his solid efforts in Class 3 prior when he let down well behind some talented sorts like RIVER RADIANCE and MY DREAMLINER.

He is a proven performer boasting three wins and nine placings from 17 starts in this class and with a clean jump this week, he can make amends.

SECTIONAL TIME STARS

Race 2  Number 1 IRONCLAD

Put the writing on the wall at his local debut 13 days ago when he flashed home late to finish second over 1000m, clocking the fastest final split (22.28 sec). Stripping fitter second-up can prove him hard to hold out with the rise in distance.

Race 5  Number 2 KING’S LANDING

Rattled strongly home to check into third over this track and distance in a Restricted Maiden race last time out while reeling off the third best final 400m in 24.41 seconds. He looks on track to breakthrough meeting a moderate Class 5 field.
