VIDEO REPLAY STARS

Race 7  Number 3 GOLD FAITH

It pays to overlook his unplaced last three starts as he was clearly not suited by the sprint distance, instead focusing on his solid effort four starts ago when he finished fourth over 1600m at this track in Class 4.

The rise in distance looks ideal for him and with the apprentice claim, he can prove a big winning chance making his Class 5 debut this week.

Race 10  Number 6 YULONG GREEN

Is off the back of an eye-catching first-up run where he travelled three-wide on speed yet still fought bravely in the straight to finish third, beaten one length over this track and distance.

He will strip much fitter second-up and with better luck in running, he is capable of breaking through locally.

SECTIONAL TIME STARS

Race 5  Number 3 SPIRIT OF D’WIND

His unplaced first-up effort was better than it reads when he clocked the fourth fastest final split (24.50 sec) to check into sixth over this track and distance. With natural improvement, he can make his presence felt late under the right race shape second-up.

Race 11  Number 3 MADE IN RUSSIA

Rattled home strongly to check into sixth at his Class 4 debut last start while reeling off the best final 400m in 22.62 seconds. He has been freshened up since and judged by his recent good trial, he looks ready to run a big race first-up.
