Is never beaten far and most recently he endured hard luck in the straight, vying for a run between the 300m and the 200m but with no where to go, eventually finishing nicely into fifth, beaten a half length.
Strikes a race where is his capable of being in the money despite being a 15-start maiden and don’t dismiss here with Moreira taking the ride.
Race 9 Number 8 Playa Del Puente
Put the pen through his last start eighth placing after he travelled in second place in a very fast run mile contest. Returning splits of +6.9 lengths above average to the 800m and +5.3 lengths above average to the 400m, he stuck on second best of the on pace runners to be beaten 2 3/4 lengths.
Switches to the AWT where he is three from three overseas, and he looks a key player in this race.

Got too far back over 1800m last start after the jockey was left little choice but to steady early from a wide barrier to find cover. Returned big late splits to suggest he’s in fine form and the drop back in distance looks a big positive.
Race 5 Number 9 Shining Gem
Let down the with the third fastest last 400m in his race last time despite racing wide throughout after being dictated to by a wide barrier. Won well two back and can atone with even luck.
