ASCOT RACE 5

7. COMING AROUND made a pleasing first start for Team Williams over what was too short a trip but 1,200 metres without This’ll Tesyta is much more suitable.

5. BEL MY PAGO is likely to be matching motors with Coming Around in the Ascot straight but the latter has William Pike’s assistance.

3. MANKIND drops in grade after not having much go his way in his last few starts.

1. SETTLERS CREEK is always worthy of consideration over Ascot’s 1,400m.

ASCOT RACE 6

8. STATE ATTORNEY is not as classy as some of his siblings, including full brother Respondent, but he resumes off a trial win and gets back on a firm surface.

5. DON’S LEGACY looked every bit as good as State Attorney in their recent Lark Hill preliminary but he has drawn much wider gate.

2. WANNA BE GOOD flew home last time out but he tends to give away huge head starts.

11. TYCOON LEGEND beat Nobelium and others to win a midweek event last time out.

ASCOT RACE 7

3. ARCTIC STREAM races beyond 2,000 metres for the first time this season but, in what is a weak Listed staying event, he gets the nod to complete his hat-trick.

7. PRINCE TURBO placed second in an equally shallow GA Towton Cup but he may not be able to match Arctic Stream late.

4. FRIAR FOX is four weeks between runs after being scratched on the morning of the GA Towton Cup.

2. PRIZE CATCH is not racing as well as he did this time last year but this race lacks depth.

ASCOT RACE 8

6. BARBIE WILL DO is a last-start winner over course and distance when, among others, she beat Morning Song and Shadow Hunter by more than four lengths.

7. BARAMAGIC posted the fastest last 200 metres, 400m and 600m when running without blinkers last time out.

2. THE CAT RATCHER is going to win a few more staying races but he leaps from a lowly Class One to a graduation handicap.

13. ZIP YOUR LIPS merits respect because Adam Durrant places his gallopers so astutely.
