Race 3 Number 3 Dollar Reward
Is in good form but has had little luck at his last two starts. Two starts ago, he was unable to obtain clear running at any stage in the straight and consequently was not able to be tested, however only finished 2 ¾ lengths astern. Most recently, was building into it in the straight before having to check off heels after being disappointed for a run inside the 200m to finish a close up fifth.
With better luck in running, he can bounce back into the money in what appears a moderate Class 4 1200m.
Race 5 Number 11 Sprint Forward
Put the writing on the wall at this track and distance 22 days ago with a solid on pace performance in a fast run race. Settled third at the 800m in which he travelled +2.8 lengths above average to that point while the speed increased further to the 400m, returning figures of +5.3 lengths above average to that mark.
While all others on pace started to fade, he stuck on solid to hold for third as the backmarkers got into it. Remains a maiden after eight starts but can breakthrough this week.

Race 2 Number 7 Hidden Spirit
Had little luck in the home straight at his most recent run over 1650m at Happy Valley, unable to be fully tested due to traffic. However, he still returned the third fastest final sectional in the event so his 10th place has merit to it and he can surprise here.
Race 8 Number 9 Perfect Match
Returned with a solid first-up run in which he raced wide throughout from barrier 13 over 1200m, still returning the third fastest last 400m in the event to check home into third. Steps up to 1400m where he is three wins and one second from four starts and looks a key player.
