VIDEO REPLAY STARS
Race 5 Number 6 EASY SOUTH EAST
His last start fourth place finish was better than it reads as he raced wide throughout which saw him cover 1021m in that 1000m race, so he should have finished much closer had he endured a better trip.
He has gone close in Open Maiden company previously and from a good draw this week, he can prove a big winning chance with the apprentice claim.
Race 7 Number 6 HELUSHKA
Ran his best race to date two starts ago when he let down well in the straight to finish second behind GOLDEN KID who was a recent Class 4 winner.
Most recently, he endured a wide trip throughout yet still found the line well to check into fifth. Based on the strength of his last two starts, he looks on track to break the duck returning to Class 5 this week.
SECTIONAL TIME STARS
Race 3 Number 3 NORTHERN SUN
Settled off the speed and showed a good turn of foot in the straight to finish fourth 16 days ago, clocking the third best final split in 23.75 seconds. He finds himself in a winnable race where most of them are Class 5 bound, which holds him in good stead to score.
Race 10 Number 1 CHALAZA
Produced an improved effort back down to Class 4 last time out when he charged home strongly to finish fourth over 1200m at this track while recording the second best final 400m in 24.07 seconds. In what appears a below par Class 4 field this week, he can prove hard to hold out.
