Star Japan galloper Almond Eye has been scratched from next week’s Hong Kong Cup on HKIR day at Sha Tin.
Connections announced the shock decision on Saturday morning.
Almond Eye was due to arrive in Hong Kong later tonight, however an elevated temperature has ruled out any immediate future plans.
