VIDEO REPLAY STARS
Race 5 Number 8 SUPER RAY
Though travelling three-wide without cover just off the speed last start, he stuck on well to check into second over 1400m. Trakus shows he covered 1424m in that race, 3m more than the winner and he was only beaten a short head.
With better luck in running, he looks capable of bouncing back for another win against modest opposition.
Race 7 Number 10 MIDDLE KINGDOM
Was steadied to the rear early from a wide barrier before running on sharply in the straight to finish fifth over 2000m when poorly weighted in a Kranji Stakes C race last time out
He has slid down the ratings and with only 51kg on his back, he looks on track to land his first local win dropping to Class 4 this week.
SECTIONAL TIME STARS
Race 4 Number 10 ALICEINWONDERLAND
Had no luck last start as he was held up from the 300m to the 100m before reeling off the fourth best final split (23.79 sec) to check into fourth over 1400m. Ready to peak third-up and can prove a value choice with the rise in distance.
Race 6 Number 11 AUGUSTUS
Is off the back of an eye-catching first-up run where he clocked the second fastest final 400m (22.51 sec) to check into fifth over this track and distance. He will only have come on from that run and can make his presence felt late second-up.
