Race 4 Number 4 Dream Warriors

Simply put then pen through his last start over 1800m when he was used up on the lead, returning figures of +9.9 lengths above average to the 800m and +8.5 lengths above average to the 400m – given no chance to finish off the race.

A number of horses have subsequently performed well from that race: Bullish Glory (1st), Cheerful Star (3rd), Mister Monte (2nd), and Dream Warriors has been back to the trials where he won his heat in good fashion. Can bounce back from a low draw.

Race 8 Number 3 Picken

Third-up this week after racing with excuses at his two runs back from a spell. First-up raced wide throughout for a one-length beaten margin into fourth, before going down as the favourite second-up when badly checked in the straight.

From the 200m he was badly held up behind two horses, before being chopped out at the 150m and going to the line untested to finish fifth, beaten two lengths. He is capable of surprising in this race.

Race 3 Number 1 Precious Sweetie

Ridden negatively from a wide barrier in a slow run race at this track and distance 21 days ago, before reeling off the second fastest last 400m to check home 2 ½ lengths into sixth. Can settle handier from a better draw and be in the money.

Race 6 Number 2 Joyful Union

Has been recording good final sectionals in recent starts and most recently, he was steadied early from a wide draw but came home the fastest in that event. It’s possible for him to settle closer to the speed this week and looks a good chance to score.
