VIDEO REPLAY STARS
Race 8 Number 3 LUCKY ENOUGH
Poorly weighted last start in an Open Maiden event so his sixth place finish was better than it reads after settling in mid-field, finishing off okay in the straight before copping a check at the 100m.
Based on his mid-race exertion, he is suited by the rise in distance and switching back to handicap conditions looks a big plus.
Race 10 Number 10 EASTIGER
Unsuited over 1400m last start, instead focus on his run two starts ago when he travelled +4.8 lengths above average to the 400m in a fast run race and was strong to the line to check into second over this distance.
He is well placed in a below par Class 4 field this week and with the drop in distance, he can bounce back for another win.
SECTIONAL TIME STARS
Race 1 Number 3 FOREVER GOOD
Settled off the speed and rattled home well late to check into seventh over this track and distance while recording the third fastest final 400m in 23.50 seconds. The form has been franked with multiple subsequent winners, so it bodes well for him to score dropping to Class 5.
Race 4 Number 5 CLERGYMAN
Produced an eye-catching debut run where reeled off the best final 400m (22.93 sec) to finish third over 1200m 30 days ago. With natural improvement, he can prove a big winning chance stepping up to 1400m second-up.
