VIDEO REPLAY STARS
Race 6 Number 8 VICTORY JOY
It pays to overlook his last two starts as he was not suited by stepping up to the mile trip, instead focusing on his solid effort three starts prior when he finished third behind promising type GOLDEN KID over this track and distance.
He will relish the drop in distance this week and in what appears a moderate Class 5 field, he is capable of surprising at value.
Race 7 Number 2 DESPACITO
Travelled wide throughout without cover last start but still let down impressively in the straight to finish runner-up behind talented type ALTAIR over this track and distance. Trakus shows he covered the most ground (1227m) in that race, 7m more than the winner and he was only beaten two lengths.
A three-time winner with two placings from nine starts in this Class, who has regained his form recently and a sixth career win looks imminent.
SECTIONAL TIME STARS
Race 1 Number 1 ATLANTEAN
Has found the line well with fast final 400m sectional times at his last two starts in Class 4. Now back to Class 5 where he boasts a perfect record can see him bounce back for a third career win.
Race 3 Number 7 STREET PARTY
Rattled home well to finish fourth behind unbeaten youngster INFERNO last start while clocking the fourth best final 400m in 22.95 seconds. Switching back to the Polytrack where his sole career win has occurred appears a big plus.
