Race 1 Number 11 Leisured Feet

Had little luck in running last time out when, from barrier 11, the jockey failed to find cover early so urged his mount to the lead from the 700m. The +2.3 length increase in speed from the 800m to the 600m was the greatest in the race and given the trip endured, it’s no surprise his run come to an end inside the final 100m, however he held for fourth place.

Jumps ideally from barrier 1 on Sunday and looks a big chance of being in the money with much better luck in running.

Race 6 Number 4 Raging Storm

Simply had no luck second-up 33 days ago when badly help up the majority of the straight after the jockey insisted on going for an inside run up the rails. Looked to have more to offer and his six length beaten margin should have been less than that.

First-up was given another poor ride so you can easily forgive him on recent starts. Needs luck from the barrier here but could be great value and is worth considering.

Race 2 Number 2 Victory Power

Has been clocking decent final sprints home at this track and distance at his past two starts. Beaten as the odds on favourite last start but will be longer odds this week – follow with apprentice Chan on claiming 10lbs.

Race 5 Number 10 Vital Spring

Comes out of a slow run 1200m where the leader travelled -4L below average to the 400m and eventually won the race. Vital Spring clocked the third fastest last 400m in the race and there was plenty of merit to the run given the early dawdle.
