Kranji Track Spy, November 3

Race 1  Number 2 HYDE PARK

Drops to Class 5 for the first time this week after finishing seventh at this track and distance last start. There were plenty of merit to that run as he travelled 7.2 lengths above average to the 600m and was beaten 4.5 lengths.

He has slid down the ratings and based on the strength of his past few Class 4 runs, he can prove hard to run down with a better-judged ride.

Race 6  Number 1 AL GREEN

Produced a solid effort in Class 3 last time out when settling on speed to check into fourth behind highly promising sprinter STAR OF JUPITER at this track and distance.

This week, he is well placed in a moderate field making his Class 4 debut and boasting a 50 per cent top 3 strike rate over this track and distance stands him in good stead to score.

Race 7  Number 2 MONTOYA

Drawn awkwardly last start which saw him steadied early and travel three-wide throughout. Despite a tough trip, he still reeled off the third best final split (24.49 sec) to finish fourth over 1600m. Based on pedigree, he will relish the extra distance and looks capable of breaking through.

Race 9  Number 1 SUPER FORTUNE

Showed big improvement last start back down to Class 3 when he rattled strongly home to check into third over 1200m at this track while recording the second fastest final 400m in 23.92 seconds. A two-time winner with one placing from three attempts in this class, who must be rated a big winning chance.
