VIDEO REPLAY STARS
Race 4 Number 4 SUPER TYCOON
Slowly away last start and was urged along to settle in midfield. To his credit, he still let down strongly in the straight to finish fifth over this track and distance despite the early hard work.
He has slid down the ratings and with a clean jump this week, he can surprise at value against some more fancied runners.
Race 9 Number 3 CROWN GIFT
Produced an eye-catching effort at his second attempt in this class 21 days ago when he settled off the speed and ran on sharply in the straight to finish third over 1000m.
Had he not been checked at the 300m, he would have arguably won that race. The rise in distance suits him ideally and he can prove a big winning chance this week.
SECTIONAL TIME STARS
Race 2 Number 14 STORMY VIEW
Reeled off the third best final 400m (23.76 sec) to check into second on debut before going on to give a bold sight and finish fifth in a fast run race last time out. He has been rested since and his solid recent trials suggest he is ready to run a big race first-up.
Race 5 Number 11 VALENCIA
Caught the eye with an encouraging debut run when he unleashed a good turn of foot in the straight to finish runner-up over this track and distance while clocking the second fastest final split in 23.71 seconds. He looks primed to breakthrough against modest opposition.
