Race 6 Number 5 Momentum Lucky

Looks ready to do something at his third career start this week after two promising runs to date while not experiencing much luck in-running. Most recently, the gelding was ridden conservatively towards the rear while copping a check at the 600m which saw him awkwardly placed until the 500m.

The son of Dubawi regathered and did his best work late to finish fourth lengths astern. Third-up and stepping up to 1400m looks an ideal situation for him to be in the money this week.

Race 10 Number 4 Follow Me

Races third-up this week after a luckless second-up effort at this track and distance 14 days ago. The gelding failed to find clear galloping for the whole of the straight, however he still held ground and finished three lengths astern of the winner despite never being tested.

He should be ready to peak this week and there appears ample speed in the race to suit his withering late finishing bursts which he’s capable of producing under the right race shape.

Race 1 Number 9 Blazing Partners

Two starts ago ran an improved race into third over this distance, returning the third fastest last 400m in a true run race. Last start was fair over the mile, but the drop back to 1400m looks ideal this week and he can surprise.

Race 5 Number 10 Villa Fionn

Has improved after a stable change and the gelding’s two most recent efforts from wide barriers have been sectionally promising. He looks ready to figure in the finish fourth-up this week with the aid of a better barrier.
