VIDEO REPLAY STARS
Race 1 Number 7 I AM INVISIBLE
His last start sixth place was better than it reads as he settled on speed off a blistering tempo before sticking on fairly to finish the best among all the front runners.
Two starts ago, he rattled home well from a rearward position to check into third over this track and distance, so possessing versatility in running holds him in good stead to score this week.
Race 4 Number 4 BORN TO WIN
Had no luck last start when he travelled comfortably off the speed before being badly held up from the 400m to the 100m.
The race was over once the rider finally managed to shift out his mount in the concluding stages, however he still finished strongly into fourth beaten 1.7 lengths over this track and distance. With better luck in running, he can break his maiden this week.
SECTIONAL TIME STARS
Race 3 Number 5 DICTON
Despite the slow tempo of the race, he closed off powerfully to check into fourth in the Group 3 El Dorado Classic 30 days ago while clocking the second best final 400m in 22.74 seconds. With a massive drop in class, he looks capable of bouncing back for another win.
Race 7 Number 7 LUCK OF MASTER
Smashed a maiden field with his blistering turn of foot on debut four weeks ago when he scored an exciting last-to-first win by 2.5 lengths over 1400m, recording the best final split in 22.83 seconds. The extra distance should suit him even better and he has to be included despite the rise in class.
