VIDEO REPLAY STARS
Race 1 Number 3 LEGEND ROCKS
Did not disgrace himself in a genuinely run race last time out when he was urged early to settle on speed and battled fairly in the straight to check into fourth beaten 4.5 lengths over 1400m.
Dropping to Class 5 where he is one from one holds him in good stead this week and he has to be rated a big winning chance.
Race 6 Number 1 EVIL ROADSTER
It pays to overlook his last start as he’s an inferior performer on turf, instead focusing on his two starts prior when he trailed the leader off a blistering tempo before weakening inside the final 200m to check into seventh beaten 2.3 lengths over this track and distance.
He is suited by the switch back to the Polytrack where his sole win has occurred and with a well-timed ride, he will take some beating.
SECTIONAL TIME STARS
Race 2 Number 11 SATURDAY
Caught the eye with a strong debut run 26 days ago when he was restrained early before reeling off the second best final 400m (22.79 sec) to finish third at this track and distance. With that run under his belt, he can go close to winning second-up.
Race 3 Number 3 AUTUMN ASSAULT
Has not raced since finishing third over 1400m in a Kranji Stakes C race in March this year while recording the fourth best final split. He has trialled ideally for his return and looks ready to run a big race at his favourite track first-up.
