Race 5 Number 14 Mr Magellan
Sat much handier to the speed than he previously has in the past when racing at this track and distance 21 days ago, sticking on for third in a race that was run fast. Prior to that, he was usually ridden cold and closing off in impressive sectionals.
As this looks a high pressure race, hope to see him ridden with some patience where he will get his chance to swoop over the top in the home straight.
Race 10 Number 14 Gift Of Lifeline
Was highlighted as a Sectional Time Star at his last start, however he failed to muster and became detached from the rest of the field until the 650m. He did, however, go on to produce big late splits – again – after coursing widest at the turn, flashing home into second, beaten 1 ½ lengths.
He does rise to Class 3 without winning but looks to have enough ability measure up, and back to this track and distance, where he’s two placings from two attempts, suits this week.

Race 1 Number 3 Savvy Seven
Races third-up after a get, back run 11 days ago when he flashed home the best into third at this track and distance in Class 4. He drops back into Class 5 and can settle handier from a better barrier this week.
Race 7 Number 3 Harmony Victory
Had clear excuses when beaten as favourite last start after he stood in the stalls and missed the kick by many lengths. He eventually mustered and unleashed with big late splits to check home into fourth, beaten one-length. The 1800m suits
