Race 1 Number 2 La Bomba

Resumes off a lengthy break this week while also having his first start for trainer Douglas Whyte. The five-year-old has, at times, been the subject of solid betting support, however has still yet to hit the frame in five starts but has finished close up in some quality Class 4 races.

La Bomba takes to Class 5 for the first time this week and Whyte has him well-prepared with two barrier trials upon his return.

Race 3 Number 5 Bright Kid

Was expected to run well second-up after jumping at an SP of $5.5 after a get back, run on first-up run over 1000m at an SP of $41. From barrier 10 over 1200m at Sha Tin, he was posted wide throughout but held his ground to finish eighth, beaten three lengths.

Bright Kid draws an inside barrier this week and should gain a conducive run where he can be more competitive in an open Class 4 1200m.
