VIDEO REPLAY STARS
Race 4 Number 10 SUCCESS STREET
Showed big improvement last start when settling just off the speed off a fast tempo before sticking on well in the straight to check into third over 1700m at this track.
He is well placed at the weights in this week’s race which is not as strong as his last start, so he can prove a value choice against some more fancied rivals.
Race 8 Number 8 THOMAS DE LAGO
Had to be urged early to settle in midfield after jumping awkwardly last start. Once entering the straight, the early hard work took its toll which saw him battle fairly into fifth over 1100m.
There was plenty of merit to that run as his mid-race exertion rated highly and with a clean jump this week, he looks capable of bouncing back for another win.
SECTIONAL TIME STARS
Race 2 Number 2 JIUYI
Has been recording good final splits at both starts to date, including a close third last time out after finishing seventh on debut in a quality Novice race. With two runs under his belt, he is well placed to breakthrough in a field mixed with some unexperienced runners this week.
Race 7 Number 7 BEBOP
Had genuine excuses at his last two starts which saw him run below his true ability. Three starts ago, he rattled home well to check into fourth over 1700m at this track while clocking the fastest final 400m in 23.98 seconds. So it will be no surprise to see him bounce back making his Class 5 debut.
