Race 2 Number 1 Momentum Happy
Looks to be a big improver at his second career start after doing enough right without much luck when on debut 23 days ago. After jumping from a wide barrier, he took some time to find his stride, then raced three-wide while copping plenty of bumps throughout.
He eventually checked home into sixth, beaten six lengths, however his late sectionals from his position in running were likeable, suggesting there’s ability there which should prove him a big winning chance here.
Race 6 Number 4 Splendour And Gold
Put the pen through his first-up run when he was given no chance after the jockey decided to make a move from the rear of the field at the 850m to go and sit outside the leader, arriving there at the 600m.
Obviously the energy expended within that distance range meant he had little left in the home straight, however he held ground and finished into fourth, beaten 3 ¼ lengths – a fair bit of merit to the performance. Back to 1800m at Sha Tin should see him well in the mix.

Race 8 Number 3 Star Of Yuen Long
Debuted with a promising fifth to Aethero at the end of last season while posting the fourth best last 400m of the race, which ranked inside the top 20 for the meeting. He has since trialled well in the off season and looks a chance of being in the money here.
Race 9 Number 7 Classic Posh
Looks to be on the right track after a promising second-up run 79 days ago when getting shuffled back at a crucial stage of the race before producing the second fastest last 400m of the race to check him into fourth. The 1400m looks more suitable here.
