Kranji Track Spy, September 20

Race 3  Number 2 WIND TRAIL

Had no luck last start when he travelled three-wide throughout after jumping from an outer alley but to his credit, he still stuck on well in the straight to finish third, beaten 2.5 lengths over 1800m.

He has been freshened up since and with even luck in running, he can prove a big winning chance in this class.

Race 4  Number 9 WHISTLE GRAND

Has shown promise at both starts to date, including a close fourth behind unbeaten youngster FIELD MARSHAL last time out. The form has since stacked up with third place getter QIJI ACHEEVA and fifth place getter GOLD COAST both scoring recently.

He has trialled well since and in what appears a moderate maiden field this week, he stands out as the in-form choice.

Race 1  Number 2 SUPER TALENT

Was taken back from a wide barrier last time out and once entering the straight, he reeled off the fourth best final 400m (23.10 sec) to finish ninth over this track and distance. Prior to that, he was running some decent races in Class 4, so with the drop in class this week, he looks ready to breakthrough locally.

Race 2  Number 1 SPIRIT OF BIG BANG

Was narrowly beaten on debut four weeks ago when he settled off the speed before running on sharply in the straight to finish second over 1200m while clocking the best final 400m in 22.28 seconds. He will appreciate the extra distance and can go one place better second-up.
