Kranji Track Spy, September 15

Race 4  Number 7 JK FLASH

Did not disgrace at his latest outing when settling just off the speed and sticking on well in the straight to finish fourth over 1600m at this track despite being poorly weighted in that Open Maiden race.

Returning to Class 5 where he is well placed at the weights holds him in good stead and he can prove a value choice against some more fancied rivals.

Race 5  Number 1 CROWN GIFT

Has been racing over unsuitable distances recently which saw him slide down the ratings, eventually dropping to Class 4 this week.

He was once a Kranji Stakes C winner at this track and distance in October last year, so the rise in distance should suit him ideally and he looks capable of bouncing back.

Race 1  Number 1 DECRETO

Makes his Class 5 debut this week off an eye-catching fifth in Class 4 when he charged home late to miss by 4.7 lengths over this track and distance while reeling off the best final split in 24.32 seconds. A win in this grade is imminent.

Race 2  Number 3 CHER

Ran her best race to date last time out when she clocked the third best final 400m (24.08 sec) to check into fourth behind SUN FORMATION who subsequently finished second in Class 4, so it bodes well for her to breakthrough this week.
