Kranji Track Spy August 04

Race 3  Number 2 LIM’S CRAFT

Finished a luckless sixth last time out when he copped several checks from the 800m to the 600m and to make things worse, he was badly held up in the straight which saw him fail to find sufficient galloping room from the 500m to the 50m.

He is well placed in a field without much depth and with even luck in running , he can return to the winner’s circle.

Race 5  Number 6 LIM’S HONOUR

Settled at the rear after jumping from an outer alley last start and gave the leader a 9.7 length head start at the 800m. The slow tempo impeded any winning chance he had, though his mid-race exertion was the highest of the race.

He has gone close in recent Open Maiden races despite being poorly weighted. So he looks on track to break maiden at his second attempt in Class 5 this week.

Race 7  Number 7 ANCIENT WARRIOR

Is on a nine-day back up off a fast finishing sixth in a Polytrack sprint race where he recorded the quickest final 400m in 23.62 seconds. He can prove a value selection stepping up to the mile trip .

Race 8  Number 10 MY BOSS

Outperformed market expectation to finish third over this track and distance in a quality Novice race 23 days ago while clocking the fourth best final 400m in 23.25 seconds. He looks ideally weighted to score back to Class 4 this week.
