The form has since been franked with third place getter MIKCAIPHO scoring a 3.5 length win in this class last weekend, so it bodes well for him to make amends.
Race 3 Number 3 SUPER SMART
Strange tactics last time out when he was urged early to find the lead before being steadied to sit just off the speed from the 1200m which saw him over-race. The early hard work eventually took its toll in the straight when he weakened into ninth over 1700m.
He will be suited by the drop in distance and with a better judged ride, he is capable of bouncing back for another win.

Race 4 Number 2 LIM’S KNIGHT
Was forced to settle off the speed from a wide barrier last start and reeled off the second fastest final 400m (23.90 sec) to finish fourth at this track and distance despite racing without cover. He always appears a big threat in this class.
Race 5 Number 2 MAKANANI
Turned in a solid first-up run 12 days ago when she ran on strongly in the straight to check into fourth beaten 2.5 lengths over 1400m while clocking the second best final split in 22.95 seconds. She will relish the extra distance and has to be respected.
